[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My patio door has been squeaky since we moved in, announcing to the entire household when someone goes in or out. So annoying! I finally got around to spraying the door hinges with WD-40, and it fixed it right up! The door opens silently now, which is such a relief. It has two options: a spray and the straw. My one complaint is that flipping the straw makes the liquid spill out a tiny bit. It got a little bit on my hands, but it wasn't that big of a deal. Overall really happy I FINALLY fixed my door.

I have bought the WD-40 brand for years. Always liked how well it lubricates. The can it comes in though is just bad. I have owned 3 cans with the Smart Straw and never had one that works right. They all eventually start leaking down the straw and quit spraying.

It works great for squeaky door hinges, things that are stuck, and taking care of my tools!! The straw really makes it easy to dispense exactly where you want it to go instead of getting on everything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The original spray method is leaving the straw nozzle closed. The second is extending the straw for hard to reach areas. I used the straw nozzle extended to reach the inner mechanism of my front door lock. worked great!

I had purchased two of the wd40 cans one with silicone and the other for rust. Neither of the two cans worked almost from the beginning. The ones I had have a yellow cap and it essentially did not stay in place when using the cans. Essentially sprayed or leaked out the cap.

The flip down straw is geniuos. We just love it. Not more loosing the straw. Wish they would have come up sooner!

There are so many times I just need the spray but having the convenient flip up straw is the best! Countless times I use it throughout the year. Most recent was the garage door where I used the spray for the track and the straw for the bearings. Wonderful product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This "smart straw" version is much nicer than the original. I've bought the original WD-40 in the past, and the straw always gets lost or damaged. This new version eliminates that problem because the straw is permanently attached. The alternative method (spray) is also pretty cool; I don't use it often but it has helped reduce dripping.

My name is James. I use WD 40 to keep spiders from re-building webs in my screened in swimming pool. If one sprays the beams that prop up the screens, spider webs do not stick. I live in south FLA, and now is rainy season.Much to my surprise the WD40 remained in tact and no spider webs after three weeks! I also removed webs from other parts of the pool area and the webs were back in two to three DAYS!! Only the areas where I sprayed WD40 are there NO webs!! Thanks WD40 for a great product.
