Our very sweet pit bull dog goes voluntarily into an empty chicken cage while I feed the birds every day as those chickens are afraid of her. While she lies there waiting for me to finish with them and let her into the cage full of chickens who aren't afraid of her, she got several pieces of chicken manure stuck in her short fur. I wasn't concerned - until I noticed it was still there the next day - and I couldn't get it to come off! I tried every hair product I could think of, then started trying household products. But I did not want to hurt her skin, so I was limited in what I could use, and nothing worked - at all -that stuff was stuck on there worse than glue! Then I thought of WD-40. I sprayed some on all the spots and just left them alone. By afternoon, the spots were breaking up and loosening, The stuff had all come off in tiny pieces soon after, with no effort on our part and no harm to her. Thank you, WD-40!.

I keep WD-40 in home & garage,use it for everything sticky and have for years! Yesterday I saw a huge BLACK WIDOW in the dark corner, grabbed the can & sprayed it... it tried to get away, but I kept spraying and finally it stopped long enough for me to find a rock and kill it! Now I'll go out and buy a six-pack of WD-40 so I will ALWAYS have it on hand! THANK YOU!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The improved design is much better. The can itself is the same but the improvements are the nozzle and the imbedded straw. This allows for a much more accurate spray using the stream or spray option. You can easily change the options by simply pushing the straw up at the 90 degree angle for the stream option or push it back down for the spray option. My favorite part is the straw will always be there when you need to use it again and again. Great new design = Highly recommend this product. I have added a few photos so you can see the new nozzle.

WD-40 has always worked on any project i used it on from rusty bolts to cleaning & lubricating auto parts. This is a reliable product consumers can count on.
