I have no problem with the product, in fact, it works great......the problem is in actually getting it out of the can.......I have 5 half full cans that no longer dispense.....they simply stop spraying and no amount of solvent or cleaning will fix the problem. Time to start looking for a new product that I can actually use! Tried adding photo.......that doesn’t work either!

I purchased WD-40 smart straw a couple of weeks ago and I'm so glad I did. Every year my doorknob gets stuck. Especially around the winter months. I applied the product on my door knob. The smart straw allowed me to spray the product at a distance. The spray didn't get on my hands or clothes. I let the product sit for about an hour. Then i was able to unlock my door. I really like the fast reaction of this product, but the odor is too overwhelming.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this for my honest review. I use it for my squeaky sliding door and the windows and closet doors. My boyfriend uses it to clean his gun. It’s very easy to use and the straw makes it easy to get in small spaces.

The smart straw cans let me down in 2 ways: (1) they keep spraying for a full second or two after you release the nozzle, and (2) I can never get the full amount of product out of the can! Idk if there is not enough propellant or they leak, but good idea, poor execution.

This is the third can that has stopped spraying while it still has over half the product left. Now I have 3 useless cans of this crap. Saving my money for a company that knows how to package their product so that the consumer is able to use everything that they paid for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The original spray method is leaving the straw nozzle closed. The second is extending the straw for hard to reach areas. I used the straw nozzle extended to reach the inner mechanism of my front door lock. worked great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The smart straw feature is amazing! Very easy to use the can and to fit it in small spaces. This helped with my creaking bathroom mirror and now it doesn't groan when I open and close it! Going to try this on the garage and the front gate next!

Not having to worry about finding the straw and even not having to worry about securing the straw is mind blowing to me. Plus you can be a bit more forceful in tight spots to really get that spray in a crevice and not worry about it falling out and spraying everywhere. WD-40 is a staple in this household, it is my go to for so many projects as we rehab this home and seriously, that little straw being secured to the can permantely has me all sorts of excited. And when you don't need to use the straw, it pushes down and out of the way flawlessly.

The straw really makes it easy to dispense exactly where you want it to go instead of getting on everything.
