[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you like crunchy pickles then the Claussen spears are a great option. They are not boiled during the making process so they stay nice and crisp. However, this also means the cucumber flavor is more prevalent. Though I love pickles, I am not a big fan of cucumber, so I found the flavor to be a little offputting.

It really is such a fresh pickles, but it is lacking a sort of flavor. I can't explain what it is but it definitely throws you off if you're not used to this style.They are definitely very fresh so maybe i'm used to different types but they're good just something is off about them

Opening a jar of Claussen pickle spears gives me great delight. I have enjoyed these pickle spears since I was a little girl and they still taste just as delicious! The spears are crisp and taste so good without being "too much." I love to eat them by themselves, with a sandwich, or even a burger-they are the perfect add on to so many meals. Crunchy, sweet, and with a zing from the vinegar a jar of these never lasts too long in my house. Not even the pickle juice goes to waste. I just wish there were easier to find in my local stores. The sweet relish made from these pickles is amazing, too. My son said to not buy any other kind.

Today I tried Claussen Kosher Dill Spears. These were not the vinegar kind you find in the regular aisle, these are the one's you'd get at a restaurant with your sandwich or burger on the side. I was pleased with the quality and freshness, none appeared damaged or soggy, they were very crunchy and juicy. Add this along side your favorite sandwich next time and you'll be satisfied. These pickles are always crunchy, crisp, and zesty flavorful. Such a nice healthy snack alternative to other salty junk food items I have a habit of eating. The price is fair and the packaging is fairly easy to open. Clauses pickles....you da best!

I know they are a little bit more expensive then most of the other jars of pickles but this jar is much larger, so the price may even itself out. these pickles are especially good served cold.
