[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you like crunchy pickles then the Claussen spears are a great option. They are not boiled during the making process so they stay nice and crisp. However, this also means the cucumber flavor is more prevalent. Though I love pickles, I am not a big fan of cucumber, so I found the flavor to be a little offputting.

They remind me of the babushka's (grandma's) home canned pickles I used to enjoy in my childhood in Ukraine. There is a great balance of garlic, dill, and other flavors, and each bite brings a crisp snap that marks a truly well-made pickle. We love them as sides with sandwiches and rolled in ham spread with cream cheese.

The Claussen kosher dill pickles are very tasty. I like that they have some crunch to them but that they're not completely crunchy. I thought the flavor had a great dill pickle taste without being too sour. The spears are perfect for eating alone as a snack, and would also go great with a sandwich. My grandkids have always loved Clausen pickles. When they visit I would always these pickles on hand and they would eat them all up. Recently I purchased two jars of the spears. When the grandkids bit into the pickles, they said "the pickles taste weird" I tried them and sure enough, the pickles were bitter and the skins were so tough, I couldn't chew them. What happened to the pickles we all loved?

I love these pickles the best on my sandwiches for their flavor and crunch. I notice several other people are having the same issue I am, I cannot find them even though the locator map says I should be able to. I get down and look through the jars in the fridge section and no b and b pickles, just dill. I am so disappointed.

Claussen spear dill pickles is very salty but not sweet. I liked the flavor of the pickles. The amount in the 64 ounces bottle is great to keep for a whole month. I also liked that the spear pickles were big enough to eat in one meal for a person. The pickles went perfectly well with the hot dogs. I didn't like that the pickles were not sweet. You can see the many seasonings in the jar. The aroma is inviting, and the crispness, as well as flavor, keep you coming back for more. The quality is superb, and the value is astounding compared to other ordinary brands. There's a reason restaurants and deli's choose the Claussen pickle...perfection, its gotta be the World's best pickle, for sure!

Claussen Kosher Dill Spears are a delicious snack. They have a nice crisp bite and the seasoning is present without being overpowering. There is a good vinegar taste without the strong odor.
