I love these with sandwiches or hamburgers but also like to just stand at the counter and eat them out of the jar. They’re so good! BUT it took me forever to find them in the dang store. They’re sold in the refrigerator section with deli meats! I was looking in the pickles area and there were none to be found.

The one thing I might improve is maybe somehow cutting back a little on the salt (do they make a low sodium pickle?). Overall, I definitely recommend these pickles for snacking.

Yum! These pickle spears were very good. I get a lot of cramps from working out and I always have pickles on hand. These were very flavorful and have a good crunch. These spears are. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a pickle fan. Bread and butter or dill are my favorites. Claussen dill pickles have a great dill flavor without being too spicy or too tart. They are so crisp with a little crunch and they don't get soggy on the side of your sandwich. I always keep a jar of pickles on hand. I use them with sandwiches, on the side of a cheese tray or on my deck trays for summer time snacking. These are quite affordable and a great brand.

My dad used to make and can his own pickles and these reminded me of them. Absolutely delicious! Not only did they taste good but, they have a nice crunch to them. Growing up, I have always had a love of pickles,.in particular Claussen pickles because they are always refrigerated which seems to make them always crispy. This is a review of Claussen's flagship Deli style spears. I have always noticed that they are garlicky and satisfying. They have the perfect amount of saltiness and the brine is one of the best pickle brines around. This container is a mammoth 64 ounces of goodness. Apparently it was my mistake when I purchased these thinking they were pickles! They're not. And nowhere on the label does it actually say "pickles". It says "Kosher Dill Deli-Style SPEARS" whatever that is! Anyway, I took two bites and ended up throwing the rest down the garbage disposal. They're THAT bad. But, if you like old, thick skinned cucumbers that have been soaking in a salty-garlic brine, these are the "spears" for you. If not, and you're looking for actual PICKLES, save your money and buy some Walmart brand or Mt. Olive brand pickles.
