Overripe or picked too early? Whenever I get this large jar, which is plastic, the pickles are always soft and yellow. Hardly any taste. When I get the smaller jar, they are crispier and greener. What is the issue? Is it the plastic causing the pickles to warp during shipping, is it that the pickles are picked too early? This has happened every time I had to buy the larger jar because the smaller ones were out. Please explain somebody?

The flavor is fresh and not too vinegary. the pickles are the right amount of crispy. They are also pretty darn healthy!! Never going back to the shelf stable pickles again!!

Crunchy, sweet, and with a zing from the vinegar a jar of these never lasts too long in my house. Not even the pickle juice goes to waste. I just wish there were easier to find in my local stores. The sweet relish made from these pickles is amazing, too. My son said to not buy any other kind.

They were pretty good just not what I think of as traditional dill pickle flavor. That might be the kosher part changing the flavor a bit. Big huge spears with lots of crunch! We all love the Claussen pickles because they’re perfectly seasoned and have that crisp snap that we adore. We love to take the pickles and eat them with Swiss cheese slices, sliced turkey, and a little Thousand Island dressing for dipping. It’s like a lower carb Reuben.

Definitely a good reminder that they dont have all the preservatives that normal pickles have. They taste a bit different from normal pickles too. Kind of like what I expect if I order lunch from a delicatessen that makes their own pickles. So yummy!
