Alenza AS Ultra

Great service from the crew at Somersworth NH Firestone Company Store. From the time leaving the store a noticeable improvement in handling and tracking. Quiet on dry pavement and the next day we had torrential downpours , they handled great in the rain at highway speeds.

Improved my love of my car

I bought my 2021 Mazda CX-9 used. Liked the car a lot and it drives like a smaller vehicle. After 1,000 miles I thought the brakes were grinding. Took it into a dealer and he said my tires were "chopped," whatever that is. But i did feel them, they were rough and i trusted the dealer. The grinding noise was coming from those tires, cheap ones put on by the dealer that sold the car. I bought four new Bridgestone Alenza AS Ultra and it's almost unbelievable the difference in how the vehicle drives and handles. It's now a joy to drive.

Smooth Ride

I purchased Bridgestone Alenza AS Ultra my 3rd set of tires. My daily driver a F150 Limited with 275/45R22 v rated tires. The tire selection for my truck is minimal without going oversized. When I purchased my vehicle factory tires were Pirelli Zeros they only lasted about 38,000 miles. My 2nd set of tires I purchased Michelin Premier LTX 60,000 mile tire lasted almost 48,000 miles before the tread was @ 3/32nd and needed replacement. I was nervous purchasing a new style of tire with limited reviews. After driving for 3000 miles ( about 3 weeks) the Bridgestone Alenza AS Ultra ride is much quieter and smoother than the Perelli's and the Michelin's. The Bridgestones Alenza AS Ultra have a very nice looking sidewall and tread pattern. Also important to preform in all weather. So far great dry performance and wet road traction plus stopping. I have not driven in the snow yet! I live in Dallas Texas area no snow yet this year. Hopefully the tires last close to 80,000 miles. If so I'll purchase again.

Poor Quality / Poor Customer Service

Purchased these tires for 2021 Volvo XC90, 6 months later, 6100 miles, the rear tires measure 4/32 at the rotation service. Service center/Bridgestone tire dealer did not rotate tires due to condition and reached out to company with concerns of condition. Bridgestone rep stated the tires started at 10/32. Didn't even make 10% of the 80K warranty. When speaking with customer service, both the dealer and myself were made aware that Bridgestone would not fully cover the replacement. In addition, they would not cover the front tires being they are 7/32 and cannot do anything until they are 4/32. They calculate they would last another 3000 miles, and at that point reaching 4/32, I could submit a another claim in which the would calculate another percentage for that replacement. Customer Service agreed these are not a good tire for Volvo XC 90s. Estimate is less than 10,000 miles before they fail inspection. I would search for another brand in this size and WOULD NOT buy if you have a VOLVO XC90

The Classic driving guy

These Particular tires are very durable and at the same time the quite ride is awesome. This tire is the type of Product you would want to have on any of your Vehicles particularly for the quality, durability, comfort, quite ride, and most definitely for the Performance you'll immediately notice with out a doubt. This is a well thought out yet overall tire that you'll come to agree that it's the only type of tire that you would recommend, to family and friends alike for any Vehicle that they own.

Bubba's Review

The Alenza AS Ultra offers strong all-season performance, with good traction on various surfaces including wet and dry roads. The tread design typically enhances grip and handling, contributing to a more stable driving experience. Tires provide a quiet and comfortable ride, minimizing road noise and vibrations. The comfort level is often appreciated for daily driving and long trips. Bridgestone tires, including the Alenza series, are generally known for their durability.

Didn't uphold warranty

Purchased two tires last year in June. Only put 30000 miles on them before they were completely worn down (3/32 measurement). Had them replaced because they were unsafe to drive with our 4 small children. Called bridgestone to see if they could help me with the warranty and they said no. If you have choices between bridgestone and another tire, don't purchase bridgestone because of the warranty. It will more than likely be of no use.

Love These Tires!

Lots of potholes in RI and these tires increased the ride quality of our Wrangler Sahara Unlimited immeasurably. They do everything well, but their ride quality combination of comfort and quietness are so superior, we just bought a pair for our 2012 BMW X5 35d! These are the best riding tires we have ever owned and I may not wait for my run flats to wear out before I have a pair mounted on our 2020 X5 M5Oi.

Overhyped

Only put 200 miles on the Alenza ultra. Final decision was made due to the many good reviews. My honest review is that the tire is not that impressive. My hope was a truly quiet, comfortable ride. Just simply not impressed with ride. Spent the money so now stuck with them. Lets hope that at-least the longevity of the tire is at least good. I would not recommend this tire, especially at the price point.

Amazing Difference

My Continental Tires were at the end of their 60k life, so I shopped for Firestone LE3s but -- thanks to a promotion -- bought the Bridgestone Alenza, instead. I immediately noticed a difference in road comfort and noise reduction over the same route I have traveled for almost 20 years (including 15 of those on LE2s).
