New wrapper- Bad choice

I used to eat the granola bars for breakfast almost daily but will no longer buy them. Consuming a bar that expires December of 2023 but it is already stale in July. Since all the bars are already stale on the store shelf , if you try to pack them to take on the go they are a wrapper full of crumbs by the time you try to eat them. Telling your team is not helpful when you have ruined a once fine product. You can tell your team we will find a new product to spend our money on.

Package doesn’t work

New packaging makes the product stale. Used to buy them all the time, especially love the peanut butter ones. Thought I just got a bad batch, but it seems like every other package that I open is just a stale disappointment compared to what I used to get. I appreciate the attempt to use a recyclable material, but I won’t buy any more until this problem gets resolved.

I love the flavor and blend of the pats for this product but it is quite disappointing with the way it’s made. It easily crumbles and makes a mess so it’s difficult to eat in certain areas without having to worry about having crumbs all over the place. Overall though it’s a nice snack to have before a work out to add something in my stomach.

CRUNCHY GRANOLA BARS

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started eating these in 2012. I absolutely love them. I love granola. They make a great snack everyday or on the go! The packaging keeps them fresh. I hope they keep making them for years to come, especially because I’m a huge fan on the CRUNCHY GRANOLA.

Crunchy, but lots of crumbs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nature Valley Crunchy Oatmeal bars are a good snack, but a bit messy. Be prepared to vacuum out your car if you eat one while in it. It's worth that extra effort though, because these do keep hunger at bay. They are an easy take along, no refrigeration needed. We usually have them around.

Smaller than they look

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These cereal bars look like they do on the box and taste very good as well. They are a little smaller than they used to be which I don’t like - seems to be a cost savings thing food manufacturer ma do.

Great in between snacks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They are very filling when your on the go. And need that little something to hold you over until lunch or dinner. My kids and grandkids love them very great souvenirs of fiber with out the cardboard taste. Thanks Lori.

Tasty, crunchy granola bars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nature Valley crunchy granola bars are so good. They can be eaten anytime of the day. For breakfast I break a bar up and put it on my yogurt. For a mid day snack it is delicious with some peanut butter on top. Healthy and satisfying for your body.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging was well and the box wasn't destroyed. the bars are really good with yogurt and fruit or just even by themselves when you need a mid morning pick me up. And my children love them also.

Unfortunately, they’ve started bio engineering

This is one of my favorite breakfast bars, but lately I’ve noticed on the label of ingredients it says that it contains bio engineered ingredients, which really bother me especially with all of the talk of bugs being added in or food like crickets. I don’t think I’m going to be buying this product anymore and it makes me sad because I really love the flavor or at least I did.

Biotechnology is the science whereby the DNA of an organism is modified to favor the expression of desirable traits as the organism grows. For food, this mostly refers to genetic alterations to crops like sugar beet, corn, soy, and canola to better equip those crops to thrive even when growing conditions might not be ideal. On the question of safety – our number one priority – there is broad global consensus among food and safety regulatory bodies that approved genetically modified/bioengineered ingredients are safe. The World Health Organization, the FAO, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Health Canada have all weighed in on this question – and all have found that the approved bioengineered crops are as safe and acceptable as their conventional counterparts.
