If you're comfortable replacing some native apps with their web counterparts, you can get desktop functionality in a light package. When I don't have internet for web apps, Dex makes tablet apps behave in a more desktop-esque way. Running Linux through Termux even allows me to do some web development on my tablet without any cloud solutions. Great tablet and far more capable than any others on the market!
