This thing moves snow

I received this handy blower about a month ago. It does its job of moving snow. Really powers through the light fluffy snow, seems to get bogged down with day old or heavy snow. Not that it doesn't move it, it just works alittle hard to properly it out of the chute. This little blower is not self propelled. Yet, it doesn't take a human to push it. It glides through most snow with ease. It has faltered when going over uneven terrain and packed down snow. Not where it shuts off, just have to pull it back abit and then go forward again. Battery has last 45 minutes on a charge in 6 to 8 inches of fresh snow. Led lights are convient at night. Easy assembly. Plus my wife says she likes that I don't smell like gas after I am done!

Handle too Short

I’m a big fan of Worx products so I bought their snowblower a little over a month ago in anticipation of a Chicago Winter. Just tried it on a thin, but wet snow. The battery lasted long enough to clear my short 2car garage driveway, corner lot sidewalk and my neighbors short driver with charge to spare. It threw the wet snow better when the chute was straight as opposed to a 90 degree angle. I’m sure it would perform well in dry light snow. I’m not going to find out though because the handle is too short. My back killed after using it and the handle is extended as far as it can go. I gave it to my 5’2” daughter because it should fit her height. But not designed for a 6’ tall person.

Great for fresh snow!

Got to use this past weekend while home to "attack" with fresh snow...worked super awesome!!! Did as it should...when the snow was fresh! Mind you that if if that you have snow fall and it begins to thaw/melt.. that you can in some cases "burp" a Slurpee. Aside from that - completely content with the performance and love...love love the powershare with batteries :-)

No more shoveling!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Growing up in Minnesota, shoveling snow for six months was the worst. Then when I bought my first gas snow blower back in the early ‘70’s, I found the gas blowers to be heavy and hard to maneauver. Also, every fall they would be hard to start after sitting for 6 months. But, not anymore! 2 years ago we bought an electric snowblower that worked pretty good here in Colorado, but pulling a 100’ electric cord was frustrating. Now that I have the WORX snow blower, the job is much easier due to the cordless power of the batteries and also, the light weight makes it a breeze to use. My wife is the first to go out after a snowfall and the first thing she does is get the WORX snow blower out. It works great in the lighter, powder we get in Colorado! Thanks for a great product.

Easy to use - perfect for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the ease of this machine. Great tool to quickly get snow off drive and sidewalk. Got up to about 12” of snow this winter and blower worked great! Husband thought it was for sissy’s but he used it more than me. He realized it was a great tool to have. It doesn’t do well with heavy snow at the end of our road where road plows push snow back into our drive. Have to get it before snow gets too deep at end of drive. Would love to buy more for my family gifts next Christmas. Highly recommend!

Disappointed

I have a lot of Worx equipment, and really like all of them. However, the chute on the snow blower arrived cracked and split where it attaches to the unit. I called customer relations and was told to use "duck tape" and they would "try" to send me another chute and they were not sure if this was an available part. Not real happy about this, but will see what happens. On the positive side, it did start right up. Waiting for some snow to see how it works with a semi-working chute.

Easy to use

Still waiting for the big snow to arrive to test it. Had a couple before it arrived and would have been nice to use it then. Unit did go together nicely and batteries are charged and ready. Controls are easy to operate but the discharge chute could be more refined.

Simple to use, great power

I bought the lawn mower this past summer and love it and wanted to add the snow blower to my WORX inventory. We finally had enough snow to use it and I love it. First, the blower was very easy to assemble. It is super easy to start, no more messing with smelly gas and having to run to the gas station to fill up the gas can. It is quiet and I love the bright light on the front. You can see where you are going when it is dark out. It is very lightweight and easy for someone like me with a knee issue to push and use. The batteries last a long time. I was able to do my driveway and sidewalks. I even did the neighbors sidewalks because it is so easy to use. The chute control is a little hard to turn as first but once you turn it, it gets easier. Highly recommend.

Nitro 40V Power Share 20" Cordless Snow Blower

My Worx Nitro 40V Power Share 20" Cordless Snow Blower worked perfectly right out of the box .Along with having my extra 20v Pro 4.0AH batteries I had bought for my Worx Nitro 40V Power Share 20" Cordless Snow Blower everything worked really very good and very fast too . Worx is a very good brand along with the power share really rocks too no matter is it's 20V or 40V or higher to the Nitro 40V . I really don't believe in reading other reviews on products it's better to experience the products first hand 100% .

battery life is not very impressive unfortunately

I am a big fan of Work and own several of their products. I figured I would give this snow blower a try. Used it today for the 1st time with about 6 inches of snow. It moved the snow ok but almost immediately the battery level decreased a bar. Right then I knew I was likely in trouble with this product. The battery did not last even close to the manufacturers estimated amount and died within 15 minutes of use. If that's the battery life that can be expected then Worx should include 2 sets of batteries. With only one set this unit can barely handle the smallest of jobs. Other issues is the Chute is not easy to move subtly and the batteries are a bit difficult to remove. Those minor issues I can deal with but the battery life is a deal breaker for me.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to share your experience and review! We greatly appreciate your honest feedback as it gives us a better understanding of where we need to improve. Blowers use more power and will deplete the battery's power more quickly. For added runtime, we recommend purchasing an additional battery to assist with tackling larger tasks. Should you have any additional questions or concerns, please contact our Solution Center Team at 866-354-9679 Monday through Friday from 9 am until 6 pm EST. We'd be more than happy to assist you.
