Like a champ

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this a month ago when we got a lot of snow. Open the box and only took 1/2 hour at most to put together and getting outside to snow blow the driveway. Perfect and had no issues clean the driveway like a champ!

Works great, only wished it would run longer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First let me say how wonderful it is to have a cordless snowblower. I have been using a corded one for the past two years and finally had enough of messing with the cord. I bought this a few weeks ago and have used it to clear the driveway three times. Two of the times have only been a couple inches and this thing rips right through it, I can get my driveway and sidewalk cleared in about 20 minutes, after which the batteries are pretty dead. I’m pretty certain I could clear up to four inches on a single charge. One snow was 10 inches of medium weight snow and while it was slower going, it actually handled the snow better than I thought. I realize this is more snow than it’s rated for, so I’m happy with it being able to handle pretty deep snow. However, I was only able to clear half my driveway before the charge ran out, in about 20 minutes. A couple hours later I was able to clear the other half of the driveway with a fresh charge (had to wait a bit to recharge because they were too hot initially). Other reviews I’ve seen online mention the difficulty turning the chute, and while it’s not effortless to turn, I don’t find it that troublesome to operate. Overall I’m pretty happy with it. It blows the snow a little better than my old corded one actually. My only disappointment is the 20-25 minute runtime. I wish Worx would offer a dual 56v battery version for longer runtime, as I already have a few of those batteries from my other tools. I would immediately purchase one of those if offered.

Great lightweight snow blower!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only just received this about a month ago but it seems solid. Easy to put together and it is quiet! Only had it out for some light snow but it did as well as my hard to start, old gas and oil burning machine. This is much less annoying and my clothes don’t smell like gas and oil fumes when I’m done. I’m almost hoping for it to snow. Love the headlights!

Typical Worx product.

I have a Worx trimmer/edger, leaf blower, chain saw.. all 20v battery. LOVE them all. Really like the features of my blower/vac. Wish it was battery instead of corded. Just received my 40v (twin 20 v batteries) snowblower . Got hit today with a 16+ in snowfall. Knocked in down in 3 rounds as the snow was falling. Easily handled several inches. Had to work through a couple of 12 in drifts. Did my long sidewalks and driveway and neighbors. 4.0 lasted longer than expected. Have 6 2.0 batteries for backup. Only problem... I have a 2.0 battery without the strength light through my second trimmer/edger. I had a very difficult time getting it out of the snowblower. The others were fine. Waiting for a battery blower/vac.

Works better than expected in PA snow!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a rough winter in PA. Feels like we were shoveling non-stop, and hiring someone to plow the driveway several times too. We finally broke down and bought this battery operated snow blower. We didn't want to deal with gasoline, or storing a big snow blower, so this option seemed perfect. It arrived quickly, the day before ANOTHER snow storm. That was only 6 inches, and we were able to clear the whole driveway with one charge! What a lifesaver! We then got 8 inches a few days later, and it struggled a bit more with that. I'd say 4-6" is the perfect amount to use it with, and then go out again if it continues to snow! Well worth the money!

Made life easier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got 4 inches of snow and this lasted 23 minutes with the 20v 4a batteries. Batteries are a little difficult to remove. Was hoping for the 40 minutes or more I read in another review. Not near as long when I used my other 20v batteries. Hoping that is because they had been in the cold garage. I had to clear the end of the driveway just after the plow went by so there was some heavy snow moved as well. Beats shoveling. Once my batteries are charged I will clear the back patio and see how it does in snow trampled by the dogs. I have a few WORX tools so happy the batteries are compatible. It is very light to lift and carry.

Great machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My snow blower arrived about a week ago and we had our first major snow storm a couple of days after that. We got about 8 inches of heavy snow. My snow blower had no problems going through it. The charge lasts about 30 minutes. I'm purchasing an additional 2 batteries to swap out. The snow blower is easy to maneuver, handle and use. Love the LED lights It does a great job!

Won’t stay running.

Very unhappy with this purchase. I cannot keep it running. It starts just fine but won’t stay on. Also handle cranks so hard it’s easier to turn the chute by hand. I thought the instruction booklet was poorly written. The booklet said it was for a snowblower but it referenced mowing the grass. Yes, I plan on contacting customer service.

battery life is not very impressive unfortunately

I am a big fan of Work and own several of their products. I figured I would give this snow blower a try. Used it today for the 1st time with about 6 inches of snow. It moved the snow ok but almost immediately the battery level decreased a bar. Right then I knew I was likely in trouble with this product. The battery did not last even close to the manufacturers estimated amount and died within 15 minutes of use. If that's the battery life that can be expected then Worx should include 2 sets of batteries. With only one set this unit can barely handle the smallest of jobs. Other issues is the Chute is not easy to move subtly and the batteries are a bit difficult to remove. Those minor issues I can deal with but the battery life is a deal breaker for me.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to share your experience and review! We greatly appreciate your honest feedback as it gives us a better understanding of where we need to improve. Blowers use more power and will deplete the battery's power more quickly. For added runtime, we recommend purchasing an additional battery to assist with tackling larger tasks. Should you have any additional questions or concerns, please contact our Solution Center Team at 866-354-9679 Monday through Friday from 9 am until 6 pm EST. We'd be more than happy to assist you. Small, but a BEAST

I was looking for something easy for my son or wife could use to throw snow wile I would be a work, but dang, I use this almost exclusively for snow removal as my corded SnowJoe sits in the garage. It's not as wide or powerful as the SnowJoe, but the ease makes it worth it. Yes, anything over 3" you better buy two additional batteries, but I can usually get my driveway and dog paths on a single charge. I had one bad battery that WORX quickly replaced. Very happy with my purchase. The ONLY negative is, the batteries can be hard to remove with larger fingers. I have to loop old shoelaces under the battery for leverage.
