Good Tire all around except in Mudd

Great all around tire. I hunt hard in the mountains. Great on dirt roads, also climb rocky and ruugged hills really good, also good in the snow. I haven't gotten any flats so far. Not evne on some of the rockiest roads you can imagine. Thr rocks cut up the tread but the tires is still holding togeter well. The only down fall is the tire doesn't perform well in mudd that cakes to the tires. Other than that the tire performs really well.

An excellant tire that I would purchase

I use my truck, hence the tires, to pull stock trailers and business trailers. The tires handle the weight, road conditions, and environmental conditions. They handle the wet roads really well. I have driven through extreme wet conditions this year and not once has it felt like I was going to hydroplane. Pulling heavy loads is not an issue with these tires. I would recommend tires to anyone.

From a tire professional

First off, I have been in the OTR (large earthmover) industry for 15 years. On a typical day I drive 200 miles highway and can count on some off road (mine sites etc) driving and various conditions. I have had three trucks with an average of 300,000 miles for the last five years of driving, on three sets of AT2s. I've drove them on sharp gravel, in large waterholes, in underground limestone mines with large rocks in the road, and high speed haul roads (45 MPH) and on long trips on highway. I typically rotate tires once in their lifetime, somewhere after 50k. I am hard on equipment. That said, through two F150 4X4 and one F250 4x4 ( all quad cab) the AT2 is the toughest, most reliable tire I have seen in the applications I work in. Quiet and fuel efficient. I recommend them to my friends and customers, and we don't even deal in passenger tires.

Poor Wear

These tires came on my 2016 Silverado 2500. My truck now has 37,000 miles and I will need to replace these tires at 40,000. These are rated for 60,000, so needless to say Im pretty disappointed. I always buy a 60k mile tire and these are the first Ill have to replace at 40k. I’ll usually get 55k+- out of a 60k tire. They werent that great in packed snow either. Road noise was very good, very quiet tire and a nice riding tire. But the cost of these tires is quite high to justify getting them a second time only to have to replace again at 40k.

Best highway tire out there!

I bought my 2018f250 mid 2018 and it came with these tires. I now have 35555 miles on them and they have probably a quarter life left. I don’t tow heavy very often but they’d be gone by now if I did. My pros are road noise and balance, these tires stay pretty well balanced as they wear and they are very quiet. My only con is life span, I wish they’d last longer. I’ll either get another set of these or some 37” tire. Michelin if you’re listening you guys should start making a more aggressive 35” and 37” tire for these newer diesels trucks.

Great tires

I've owned these tires for 4.5 years now and have 30,000 miles on them so far, tread still measures 10/32 (14 to start). On my 4Runner they have been nothing short of excellent. Just went 4wheeling/hunting in 6 inch snow, up some amazingly rough goat trails and was never in danger of losing traction. WOW! Mind you in some parts I was in 4 low with the rear diff lock engaged. The only concern is that I won't put on enough annual mileage before they start to crack. Very Small cracks have started to show between the tread blocks.

Awesome Tire

I drive a 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD. With this I pull a 23' toy hauler loaded with two atvs. I also move 10,000 pounds of hay each year. These tires are in need of replacing. I was floored to find out I got over 70,000 miles of wear out of these tires which beat the competing tires by over half. This is also my winter car and they do well in the snow. I found them quiet on the highway. This is the best set of tires I have owned for this truck.

Very Good Tire

I have 68000 miles on these tires. I keep them rotated as required. They look like they'll probably make another 15,000 easily. I use them mostly on the highway, but frequently pull my large boat. They seem to get a little out of balance the more they wear. Overall, an excellent tire.

Pure garbage

This is my second set of 285 75r16 E AT/2 tires on my 05 Duramax. I neither use the truck to tow or haul. Michelin "pro-rated" the first set that were worn out at 8k, now the second set same exact thing, premature wear. At 9k miles the second set is now at 16/32 which is 50% WORN OUT. The truck is perfectly maintained and aligned front to back, yet the truck eats these tires. The OEM tires lasted 51k. Wear pattern is even, these Michelin's do not last. Let me repeat that 1/2 the tread is gone in under 10,000 miles on these tires in light-duty application, can't imagine if I used the truck to tow or haul...

Michelin LTX A/T2 P275/65R18 1

I have a 4x4 pickup, and use it both on the highway, and off road. I have had no problems with them in either condition. My farm has had a considerable amount of rain, but the tire have gripped well even in wet, muddy conditions. This is not my first set of Michelin Tires, but as usual I am very satified with them.
