Very difficult to keep ...

Very difficult to keep balanced and once out of balance tire wears unevenly very rapidly then the vibration at different speeds can not be removed even with further balancing. I like the low noise aspect of the tire and it's ability to had heavy loads. The off-road performance is adequate for limited use, certainly not a mud tire but will handle rain slicked roads very comfortably. Would like perhaps a little more side lug to help in slippery off-road conditions. Not sure that I would recommend to a friend, 3 of us are already using this tire but only 1 is really doing excellent with it but he is almost never off-road and never moves heavy loads.

Best money I ever spent

I absolutely love my new Michelin tires. They are quiet, great in the rain, and they tow my boat perfectly on slick boat ramps. They are more expensive than other brands, but in my opinion they are worth every penny. When these finally wear out I won't hesitate to buy another set. Very happy with the purchase.

how long can a good thing last

we have a everyday driver its a 97 gmc sierra extended cab pickup. our first set of Michelins lasted 6 years and had some 60000 miles plus on them. we are very happy with the performance of the Michelin tire and purchased a second set for our pickup. we never had a flat or any other problems. we choose Michelin due to the high quality of the tire and trouble free miles. our experience with other tires is that they wear out below the advertised mileage. we also recommend Michelin to our children when they need new tires, we feel they are that safe to do so.

Bib would be proud

One of the reasons I purchased the vehicle I now have is it was equipped from the factory with Michelin tires. After over a million miles of driving I can say I know a little about quality tires because I have been a "michelin man" for over 40 years, since the first radials were introduced. I can also attest to the durability as well, as I have achieved over 60,000 miles with LTX/AT tires and know first hand that over time Michelin tire quality actually saves money in the long run. Thanks for great products and keep up the good work; Bib would be proud!

Tyler's take

I purchased the LTX AT2's based on michelin's name and the bargain price I could get them for. I'm so happy with them! Better gas mileage, great traction, and great stopping grip! I will purchase nothing but michelin's as long as the states department of transportation allows me to drive.

Great AT Tire

Tires installed on a Jeep Grand Cherokee with a mild lift. I use the Jeep for daily driving and recreational use such as camping, driving to ski slopes, and light off road exploration when I'm in Colorado for work. During dry conditions the tires are quiet in town and at highway speeds and brake and corner well. The tires are just as impressive in wet conditions. I have driven in wet and deep dry snow. The tires performed well in both. Off road they are an AT so I don't expect them to handle deep, sticky mud. They have performed well on trails, light rock crawling (aired up and aired down), and clean out mud fairly easily. I've put 7,000 miles on the tires and they have worn evenly and show no signs of wear. I have had several sets of LT M/S tires. Those perform a little better in wet snow and are a little more quiet. Overall, I have not experienced a major downside to the AT version over the MS version. For me, the off-road performance is worth the minor tradeoff in sound. I had a set of the old LTX AT tires that got over 50K miles. Less than the 60 to 70 I've gotten out of LTX M/S tires but for the offroad performance I'm content. I'm hopeful these will do the same. I own several Jeeps with all types of tires and use the Jeeps for everything from hardcore off roading to daily driving like an AWD car. I am realistic about the expectation of MT, AT, and M/S tires. This tire is a great AT tire as long as you don't expect it to be a mud tire, extreme rock crawling tire, or a high performance road tire. I just recommended these to a friend for a newer Grand Cherokee. So far he's pleased.

THE BEST EVER

Michelin Tires are the only tires I will ever use till the day I die! I run LTX MS2 on my Ford truck and mothers Chevy Tahoe. When we first put Michelin's on the Tahoe, there where LTX M/S. put those on through Discount Tire back in 2003 and finally had to replace them in 2011. With the quallity of the tires the still had tread on them for another 60k miles! Just seeing that right there has me ONLY buying Michelin Tires for every car/truck we own! THANK YOU for the best quallity tire in the US!!!

Terrible Tires - Will Not Balance

These tires came standard on my new 2021 Tundra Limited, not balanced from the factory, dealer tried to balance prior to delivery. Terrible vibration in the steering wheel. Took to local tire store at 100 miles, they balanced and vibration was a little better. At 2,000 miles I returned to the dealer, they attempted to balance the original tires with a road force balance machine, could not balance and had to replace all four tires. Less than 100 miles later, another trip to local tire store to try and road force balance, no luck. Truck has less than 2,500 miles, two sets of Michelins, four attempts to balance, still will not balance. I would recommend another tire or brand. I have purchased many Michelins in the past, NEVER had this issue. Not sure of next steps just yet, very disappointed long time customer.

Cant be beat

I have had 5 sets of these tires over the past 9 years, I have no complaints, just went through an Up State New York Winter last year and had no issues. Current set has 97,000 miles. I average about 95,000-100,000 miles per set with about 80% Highway use. I will be replacing very soon account of winter getting close.

Traction counts

I purchased Michelin LTXA/T2 tires to replace the factory tires on my Dodge Ram 3500 Diesel . I could never trust the original equipment tires as they would loose traction on wet roads , in turns and at starting on on ramps merging in traffic.. I have had no issues with the Michlelins they are great and give you that confidence on wet or dry roads.
