Great sports watch, refined software, comfortable

I have been using Instinct 2 for about two weeks now. I have used Apple Watch for 5 years and Pebble before that. I am very happy to move to a monochrome, simple no-frills interface. The watch UI has a learning curve to it. Garmin can make its booklet or online help a little better. I had to watch private Youtube videos to figure most things out. The battery life is amazing, so is the comfort of wearing this. I am pleasantly surprised how well made and lightweight this watch is! The sensor readings are accurate, the workout rep counter is doing surprisingly well. I would give this a 5 star if Garmin can add meditation and mindfulness related workouts to the default watch OS. I have so far not able to record meditation and that is a bummer.

Cheapest with long battery life

This is my fourth Garmin watch- the first one 12 years ago, the battery went after a few years. Then a used one, then a new Forerunner 45 in '21. Well, the battery died on that one so now I have the Instinct and I love it... - Battery, Battery, Battery. Love not having to worry about charging all the time and love that I have room for future degradation - Liking the features like sleep tracking, heart rate, customization, etc. - Love the display customization (hey- what's sunrise, sunset, temp?) So overall a nice improvement over my normal "cheapest watch I can get" and hope it lasts longer than three years.

Unsure

I wasn't sure what to think, because I'm very simple when it comes to wearing a watch. Once the item was given to me, the one thing was that it was easy to set up, which was great. I like the color, the instruments were clear. I'm very pleased with the Garmin watch.

Easier to use

I had a Fitbit Charge 5 I had worn for a few years. The Instinct2 is much easier to use and provides additional features that I enjoy. Also, the watch needs charging much less often. I haven't figured out how to add some new features yet, but am working on them. Thanks for an enjoyable product.

Instinct 2

I bought in early Nov 25. Mainly to pair with an alpha 200 dog tracking system. Works great for that. I personally do not use any of the other apps. But have been wearing everyday. Really like fact I don't have to keep phone on me to know when receive text or call

Perfect watch for working person

I've worn this watch almost every single day for the last 2.5 years. Maybe not worn it 14day while I was waiting on my replacement in that time frame. The watch seemed to survive some of the roughest events as a diesel mechanic, weight lifter and obstacle course racer on occasion. It's not the most fancy but it's just what I like with enough fancy stuff to keep me happy. I replaced the one that finally died after 2.5 years with the exact same one so that should say something. Wish the silicone band lasted longer that's about all I can say. But o am also very hard on it so it's understandable honestly.

Instinct 2 went crazy!

I have the watch 2 years an 2 month. Hard to explore menu and the watch face. However pretty good features. I like most of them, except the excessive golf features, but I dont play golf. Few days ago, the watch started to jump through the menu and drain battery so fast. I had to recharge fully every few hours. Something with aquaring satellites, said AI deep seek. Menu button was actually stuck and barely working. Fix the menu button under warm water, but battery still drain fast. Don't know what is the problem.

Young, active person's watch

I should have done better research on the watch. Quite a few of the guys at work wear Garmin watches. I like the look. That's it. lf I performed half the outdoor activities the watch tracks, it would be money well spent, but I don't. I use a watch for the timer and stopwatch. Getting messages is cool, but not necessary. I will most likely sell it...or give it away to someone that could use it.

Works great

Bought a few weeks ago after finding out that I was once again in pre-diabetes range. I decided I needed to get serious about weight management and I knew that walking was great for this.

Love this watch

Love this watch! I really like the fact that I don't have to think about charging it. It helped me get back on track with my training. Also, love the richness of data in different categories. I wish I had bought it earlier.
