[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is extremely lactose intolerant, he was quite thin until we started using this when he was about 8. We unsuccessfully tried many "dairy-free" items. At he was traumatized by all that he had gone through over the years, h was very reluctant to try Lactaid but, between the milk and the lactaid pills, he is a pretty solid 18 year old. He enjoys eating. He is even worried about the Freshman 15 now for his first year of college! Couldn't live without this stuff.

My whole family has made the switch to LACTAID reduced fat 2% milk. It has a longer shelf life and my family enjoys it with all their meals. They no longer complain of stomach pain, bloating or gas. My family will tell you that LACTAID milk is even better than regular milk.

I don't drink milk just to drink a glass of milk I use it in cooking or in cereal. Over the years buying regular milk I have even had to throw away part of a quart-size because it had past its expiration date. Lactaid has a much longer time before the expiration date is reached and for the first time in years I was able to use up a half gallon of milk and not throw any of it away. So I will always buy this from now on tastes like milk to me.

My daughter starting complaining of stomachaches when she would drink milk or eat a lot of cheese, and she is a huge dairy product fan! She talked with some of her friends and came to me with the idea that she may be lactose intolerant. She wanted to try Lactaid- she had seen many commercials. She liked it a lot. I had her try other products by other brands and she didn't like any of the others. We have been consistent Lactaid customers for about a year and a half now. She always drinks the 2% milk and loves the ice cream when I let her get it at the store. Thank you for these products. I don't know what she would do without them.

I just open up my second half gallon (expiration July 24) because I threw out the first container thinking it went bad. It has a sweetness to it and an after taste that we never had before. Not sure if this is going to be the normal or did I get a bad batch? Not liking the new formula if this is the norm. The after taste is not good.
