Old and brown very poor quality of crab. Extremely to salty. I rinsed these and then cooked them on the grill. I didn't add anything the were so salty we couldn't even eat them. If you put butter on these you'll kill yourself from hypertension. Will be returning absolutely disgusting. Do not waste your money.

Very happy with purchase after eating at red lobster the night before this had more meat, just a tad bit salty for me not adding anything. But great for the price. Better then red lobster crab legs in the ultimate feast. Recommend if on a budget. Hits the spot thays for sure.

I bought these because of the price and the way they looked in the very small window on the bag. Looked good! Brought them home and steamed them. A few friends were over and we were all looking forward to enjoying. WAY too salty. A lot of the weight of these crab legs seemed to be a thick layer of ice. I might try these again but I highly doubt it.

I am in awe that this product is still in stores. I honestly read the more recent reviews where it averaged relatively high. These were horrible. My crab legs came with black spots all over them. There was darkened areas inside the shell. Now, I love seafood but these were HORRIFIC. They also smelt really fishy. I would never purchase this product again. Definitely not worth $11/12 per pound. Oh and some family members got sick. In the first package there were almost no black spots, but the smell and taste were off. The second package was truly awful; covered in black sticky in texture spots, something that resembled mold was on some as if they had thawed at some point during transport. This product is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Bought 3 bags on January 14, 2024, to eat this last weekend. 2lbs seems like a lot, but everyone knows crab legs are all shells. These aren't bad, and the meat was intact when boiled correctly Make sure to have a large stockpot. Mine was 8 quart. I filled it all the way and left a good 2 inches below the rim No salt in water! Let the water come to a rapid boil. Run all the crab legs under warm warm to clean off any ice crystals I had 2 big bowls. One for the washed frozen and one for after the were done. I did make sure the crab wasn't stuck to each other and boiled for around 8 mins total with moving them about halfway through in the water I took the cooked crab legs out, and we ate good. I did microwave a stick of butter and added about a half teaspoon of garlic salt to the butter for added flavor These cracked nicely and were done perfectly. Our pups also enjoyed the boiled crab meat. The 2 of us had plenty, and for $20 bucks, you can't beat it I will be buying more bc the sale runs to March 28th. Next, I will make a garlic and olive oil rub of sorts and serve warm in the shell. I recommend these to seafood lovers

I was worried because of the other reviews, but ended up going with it and they were yummy. Obviously they don't have the meat that king crab legs would, but you're also not paying for king crab. Good taste, good color, great late eve snack.. no complaints here.

I brought these crabs for gumbo. I usually buy blue crabs for my gumbo but, the place I usually buy them were out of stock, So I thought I would try these crabs and it taste great!!! For now on I will use these crabs. My family just loves the taste and the price is just right!!!

I bought these last night for dinner. It is now repackaged as wild caught in a blue bag. The crab had a lot of weird black spots on them. The meat tasted great, but other pieces tasted and smelled off and the most disappointing was that at least half of the legs literally had no meat in them. You could hold it up to the light and see nothing was in them. Grrr... Quite a waste of money. With so many negative reviews, I would think Sams should consider finding a new company to get crab legs from.

Too much of it were Itty bitty teeny tiny slivers of meat. Some of the meat wasn't worth cracking it open, a lot of work for a tiny small strand of food. Also, to be fair, we just had Aqua Star King Crab Legs and Claws With Butter, Frozen (2 lbs.) Item # 990108693 at $30 off, now those crab legs were awesome! Comparing this to that, there's a huge difference, the Aqua Star had the biggest pieces of crab we've ever had and the garlic butter was fantastic too.

I bought three bags (6 pounds for $60) and each bag was poor quality. Small legs compared to other snow crab, must most concerning was that most of the crab meat was stuck to the inside of the shells which made it very difficult to eat and enjoy. Maybe I had a bad batch, but I can't recommend what I did buy.
