The chips were stale and too crunchy really hard to eat

You'll either like them or won't.

Nothing to dislike about this product, always crispy and salty. fresh tasting

Too expensive and bags are getting smaller.

These chips are very good and flavorful.  Not too much or too little salt.  Crispy.

The bag of Lay's Classic Potato Chips that i recently purchased were burned or something, every one of them, maybe on purpose as a new marketing strategy 
i did not like thdt, i feel they they were over cooked and tasteless
While i will continue to be a customer, i will not buy Lay's Classic Potato Chips anytime soon

Lays are the King of Chips. Light and crispy. I splurge on Lays occasionally because Great Value brand is good but not great. Last couple bags I had of Great Value had lots of chips with black spots. You'd think machines would carve out all the bad black spots on the potatoes before they go into the fryer. C'mon Walmart! You can do better.
