A Little Noisy

I didn't realize that the best way to maintain this power station was to keep it plugged in.When it is plugged in, the fan is constantly on, and as a result, there is a constant noise. It would have been more useful to be able to charge it up and store it until needed, but if not used in three. months, the product becomes less effective. I also did not realize that this is not a pure sine wave product. It's modified. My bad for not checking this detail out before purchase.

Works as expected!

Bought this after experiencing 6 days without power. Instead of running my car to charge up our accessories, i plan to use this instead. Easy to use, clear labels. Easy to charge and i am currently using it to charge my phone in an area without an accessible outlet

Poor performance

I bought this power station in March 22 and have only cycled it about 10 times; its now august 22. It started with supplying 100 watts for 5 hours to some LED bulbs for a art featival booth. It now only lasts about 3 hours at 69 watts of load. Im very disappointed in the performance of this power supply. I'm hoping the item is defective and can be repaired or replaced; hoping this isn't status quo. The item discription said i would receive many many more cycles than 10 or i wouldnt have bought this unit. I'm hoping at least for a satisfactory response from westinghouse on restoring this power supply to meet our needs. we are ising 107 watts and it would be great if it could last for 8 hours but maybe 5 is max but 3 hours with a 69 watt load is unacceptable.

New purchase for a specific use.

A week or so ago we had a power outage that lasted 12 hours, not a common event in my location, Snohomish PUD in the Puget Sound region of Washington state.. but something I noticed when look at my Wi-Fi tablet during the outage... my Wi-Fi was the only one up in the neighborhood, but it was just the Wi-Fi extender on a Yeti 100 power supply... but it was just the extender... this purchase was just the right size to power the router and the wireless handset landline network.. this product should fill that gap in connections to landline and internet, a just right sized solution I hope without tying up Goal Zero Yeti generators I already have , The test will be during the next outage... will I be able to follow outage websites, news, and of course games to pass the time of during a few hours of an outage... Otherwise the design is nice, the light is of good brightness, the weight is light, and since it should be stored plugged in... and emergency power of internet seems a good use.

IGen200's

The Westinghouse iGen200s Portable Power Station is an excellent choice for anyone needing a lightweight and reliable power source for outdoor adventures or emergencies. Weighing just over 4 lbs, this compact unit packs a 194Wh lithium-ion battery, capable of powering smartphones, laptops, cameras, and more with its 150W continuous and 300W peak output. With a generous array of ports—including AC outlets, USB (including Quick Charge and USB-C), and 12V options—the iGen200s can charge up to nine devices at once. It also includes a handy built-in flashlight with multiple modes and supports AC, DC, and solar charging. Though it's not ideal for sensitive electronics due to its modified sine wave output, the iGen200s delivers great value and performance for light-duty needs, making it a smart and affordable backup power solution.

Brand New Never Used Now a Dud

Bought this because we do craft shows and it was easier than paying for an electrical hookup. Charged it up the first night, haven't needed to use it since I bought it 2 months ago.It was also sealed in a water tight container. Went to double check on the unit to see if it still had a charge, and the unit had no charge. Plugged it in to charge it up, the unit would say it's charged, then after I remove the plug, got no power from the unit. Plugged it back in again, and battery meter showed the battery was dead. I repeated the process again to charge the unit, and again the battery would be dead in less than 30 seconds. It was a mistake to buy from Westinghouse

Repeated and unfortunate issues

I am now on my fourth iGen600s and it too has issues. My original iGen600s worked great for about year and I put it through about 10 full cycles. Then I go to use for the 11th time and its dead. I charge it up, it holds a charge for a couple days and then dead again. It was replaced under warranty with a refurbished iGen600s that was DOA and wouldn't take a charge. That was then replaced with a new unit which worked for about 2-3 months and then had the same issues as my original. It was replaced again with what I believe to be a new unit, but this unit has issues too and will only charge to about 80%, at which point the input wattage drops to zero, yet it still shows charging. I'm holding out hope, and currently again in the process of getting this replaced under warranty.

2021 Tour of America

Just finished a 2 week tour of America and the Generator was my primary power during the trip. It was constantly in use. The unit powered fine from both the car and from the solar panel I had installed on the roof of my car. Was loving the unit. Then day 3 or 4 happened. The car outlet seems to have fail around the 3 // 4 day of continuous use. I was using the outlet to power a portable fridge and it was working like a charm for the 3 to 4 days of continuous use. Then it stopped working. Now, I can not power anything from the car outlet. However, the AC Cable adapter that came with the unit worked fine for powering the portable fridge.

Light use still caused issues

I was given this for Father's day, I've never over charged. I only take it with me just case I need a charge on my phone. I've never had it go lower than half a charge. Just this week I was charging it for about 20min and I noticed a burnt plastic smell. I felt under the handle and it was extremely hot right above the display. The plastic has now warped and it no longer accepts a charge. I was looking forward to getting some good use out of it and nope. It gave up even though I have babied it.

1st one didn't last a week at camp.

Father's Day gift, for camping. Charged quickly at home, before we left for a week of Scout camp. Charged my, and 2 other Scout phones, the first 3 nights. Battery life was down to 1/4 on the power station. Tried to charge the power station on a car battery with the DC adapter. It struggled to reach 3/4 charge in 8 hrs. Used the power station again, on night 4, with limited success. Seemed to drain faster than normal this round. Tried changing the power station again, using the DC cable. Power station only reached 1/2 charge in 8 hours. Used the power station on night 5, which drained the battery to 1/4 power. After this, I no longer used the power station, until I returned home. Currently, the power station is being charged on the AC cord, with little to no success. Will not charge past 1/4 battery life.
