[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love General Tsos chicken but it doesnt always taste how I expect it to. I was so excited to try InnovAsian General Tsos chicken. Its really easy to make. The sauce comes separate so you can add as little or as much as you like. My picky eater even loved it and asked for seconds.

The packaging advertised 18oz, but the box was barely half full, making it feel like poor value for the price. The cooking instructions were very easy to follow, and the texture of the chicken turned out great—crispy outside and tender inside. Unfortunately, the flavor was lacking; the sauce tasted very watery and didn’t have the bold, savory, slightly spicy profile I expected. It’s possible I just got a one-off bad box, but based on this experience, I wouldn’t purchase it again.

But nope, took me about 20-30mins just to get these chicken “crispy” enough using the pan fry method! N how do u get it crispy with just 2 teaspoons of oil?!!! N 8 mins of stirring?!!! Anyways, would have been much easier, faster n crispier if I had an air fryer … Plus 2 packets of sauce was an overkill… this momma only used one, saving the other packet to modify and make different dish. Pros: made with real chicken breast meat. Big chunks of chicken meat. Quite a decent amount. Lots of sauce provided Cons: sauce too sweet for my Asian tastebuds Not crispy enuff (better to put it in the airfryer) Not a quick fix meal. My American hubby said he liked it, my 2 kiddos didn’t ask for seconds or didn’t want it as leftovers and this momma equates it to = Chinese food at the food court here in the USA. Either u like it or hate it

The chicken seemed tender enough and the batter wasn’t too thick . If you like super spicy this is for you.

It’s super good and has a nice slightly spicy tangy taste and good sized chunks of chicken. Trader Joe’s still has my favorite at home Chinese style chicken but this one is definitely up there and delicious

Its amazing to cook the chicken in the air-fryer to get a more authentic crisp before they are coated in the sauce. A simple side of fried rice really elevates this as a dish.

The sauce could be a bit too spicy for some. The amount of chicken compared to the amount of breading is disappointing. I chose to pair with zucchini and rice to make it fuller. I'd take 2 bags of Trader Joe's Orange Chicken over this. For about the same price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So we tried the InnovAsian General Tso"s chicken and it was a SMASH!!! The chicken was crispy and you get A LOT OF CHICKEN! The sauce was great too. For the price and the taste you cant go wrong. We absolutely LOVED this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed General Tso’s chicken! It was a good snack for watching sports this weekend and was easy to prepare. The quality is good and I couldn’t tell it wasn’t fresh from a Chinese restaurant. The pieces are good size and have a good balance of batter and meat. The family sized box was easily enough for 3 people
