I baked this in the oven and only used one of the sauce bags to toss the chicken in. It stayed crispy and was lightly glazed which made it less sweet. I served it with stir fried veggies. We liked it and will be buying it again.

Tried for the first time and loved it - box clearly read medium hot so I expected it to be spicy and it was fantastic. Placed in oven at 425 for 17 minutes and chicken was perfectly crunchy. Will buy over and over again.

Ive never written a frozen food review before, but I felt obligated, this was that terrible.. The breading or "tempura" is light colored and tasteless, the texture of the "chicken" is more like rubber. The Sauce doesn't resemble general tso's. don't buy this, dont even think about it.

Bring back Kahiki General Tso's Chicken! This was in our store as a replacement and it's terrible. It doesn't taste good. There is way too much sauce for the little amount of chicken that you get. The Kahiki General Tso's Chicken came with 2 packages/meals worth and this only came with one. Overall a terrible value for an under whelming product.

I fixed this one evening for my husband, granddaughter and me. It was so hot we had to pitch it! I'm not seeing anyone else complain about the heat being like this so am wondering if we just got a bad batch. This one definitely should have had a disclaimer for VERY HOT AND SPICY!!

I love spice and love General Tso's. So figured I'd give it a whirl. First of all whoever came up with the 'medium heat' rating... Id hate to see what they thought hot was. Holy hell, 3 bottles of water and a glass a milk later my tongue is still numb. Which would be fine if it tasted good, the taste was far from soemthing Id ever go back to again. Do yourself a favor. Skip this and call your local Asian place for takeout.

I buy the general tsos chicken quite frequently. I don't remember the brand name they previously had, but this one is awful. The chicken tastes like cardboard and the sauce is super spicy. Also, the previous brand had two bags of chicken in each box instead of one huge bag like this does. Will not buy again. I hope they bring the other brand back into stock.

This is NO substitute for the prior brand Sam’s previously offered. I made this ONE TIME. I let the sauce soak into the breading while I air fried egg rolls. The breading was so hard, I broke my bridge off. Tastes awful. I’ve resorted to buying tempura chicken nuggets and adding other Gen Tsaos sauce. Absolutely delicious.

Way too hot. Advertised as "Medium Spicy", but this was not at all enjoyable due to rhe extensive heat while eating. Normally can tolerate medium heat, but this made our ears and mouths really burn. Had to rinse our mouths with water for several minutes after. I generally do reviews only for sub-par or above average items, and this is a sub-par never buy-again item. Learned the hard way. This had very good flavor, and if the company could greatly reduce the guagillo pepper percentage it would be suitable. Won't buy again.
