I've seen and tried what seems like a thousand of these types of drinks. Most of them all have about the same taste without much variability. These, however, do indeed have a rich chocolate taste living up to its Double Chocolate moniker. What particularly stands out is the drink isn't very sweet at all and lets the chocolate flavor really stand out. If you like sweet, this isn't for you. If you like the rich taste of chocolate without a lot of sweetness this is right up your alley. With sugar listed as only 2% or less of the ingredients, it stands to reason why. The small 11 oz drink is packed with 10 grams of fiber and 20 grams of protein. Together you can knock out a hunger pain pretty quick for a while. Fiber, protein, super chocolatey taste, what's not to like?

These are really good and dairy free. I mix mone with my espresso in the morning. I wish they sold other flavors though, like vanilla or coffee :)

It has a nice taste and smoothness. No aftertaste. Gave me a energy boost. I would need to drink regularly to test it as a post workout recovery drink. It can be easily used as a meal replacement drink. I got a free sample for my honest review.

My son wanted to try this, he's on all the protein kicks. He said this was just like all the rest, nothing better, nothing worse. The chocolate flavor was there but so was the protein flavor and it just feels heavy on his stomach. Just "OK" he says.

This protein drink is a yummy option for those of us that are either non dairy for medical reasons or by choice. It is nice and chocolaty. I am excited to find some recipes that use protein drinks to try this out with.

This shake was not terrible, but it wasn't great either. One of my least favorite meal replacement shakes due to the after taste that tasted like artificial sweetener. I didn't even finish the full shake due to the taste.

The double chocolate flavor is initially not bad, a little chalky in texture, but flavor is ok. There is a not pleasant after taste that makes it hard to finish the whole shake. I will stick with other shakes that are more pleasant to drink.

This tastes better than any plant based protein shake I've ever had. It's like a treat! I especially like to add just a touch of almond extract and it's amazing!

We usually buy the other brand of protein shakes offered at the club, but after trying this brand we will be switching. It tastes great and has an overall better nutrition profile. Definitely give this one a try!

One of the better tasting protein shakes I have had and I like that it is plant based. I don't like to eat early in the morning so it is a nice boost when I go out to golf in the morning. Keeps me going through 18 holes.
