I think it's a pretty good TV. For the price I think it would be hard to beat. I usually buy more expensive brands for the tv's that are watched more often but this was for a spare bedroom so I didn't want to go with an expensive tv. I'm pretty impressed with this Vizio overall. Easy setup and nice features. The picture is pretty good actually at this size 43”. A bigger one might not look as good perhaps ( not sure) but at 43 “ it's decent for sure. Overall a very good TV for a very reasonable price.

I got a BAD TV.

First, the TV took two hours to set up. It downloaded software or firmware five times. Thence message appeared that the SmartCast was unavailable. There is no home screen showing available apps. The color was washed out, and none of the available settings would correct the issue. The time was wrong, and there was no way to correct it. Overall, this Vizio TV was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. I have two older models that have much better pictures and features than this one. I guess you really do get what you pay for. I didn't pay very much, and I certainly didn't get very much.

Do Not Waste Your Money

My last Visio tv lasted years. This one is HD and the picture is not as good as my last one. It changes to different color modes without being selected. It will also go from the volume I have selected to really loud on its own. You ask why I have not returned it? I am almost 70 and getting it in the car would be very difficult at best. I put my old tv in this ones box and my brother came and helped get rid of it. Hate this tv!

Good price and picture OK. But cannot recommend over other brands at similar price. Audio is often garbled while it is fine on my 15 year old Sony. Several times a week I have to restart because it gets hung up or remote goes crazy and just keeps flipping through options without ability to choose one and get on with it. Maybe other models are good but this one clearly has bugs.

This tv has been a dream! Bought it for my bedroom to upgrade from my ancient Sanyo and Roku. The picture is beautiful and setup was super easy. A couple hiccups while setting up the soundbar but those were easily fixed with a quick google search. The tv itself doesn't have very loud sound, which I knew beforehand, so prepare to buy a soundbar with it or to have the volume cranked up. Other than that, this tv is a dream. You won't be disappointed!

this series of Vizio is giving me all kinds of trouble with WiFi and picking up my network. its not my internet connection because they've been out many times. also i have another Vizio tv in another room and it works fine. is there anything I can do with this problem. thanks. KW

Terrible remote. Not the one pictured.

I've had my eye on this TV for a while and finally got it a few days ago. I set it up yesterday and spent the evening exploring the features. So far, I like the TV, but the thing that has me upset is the remote. The remote that came with my TV is not the remote in this listing or on Vizio's Web site. Mine does not have volume controls, a back button or a mute button. It is extremely frustrating. I spent so much time last night trying to get back to previous selections and trying to control the volume that I was getting angry and never actually got to watch anything. I had to use the voice option to turn the volume up or down, and that was not a good option. It would decide for me how low or high the volume would go. If I wasn't happy with it, I'd have to ask again, and again, and again. If I was browsing, selected a show to see what it was about and then wanted to go back to the list of movies or TV shows to look at something else, I had to press the Home button and start from the beginning. Also, I had to press the center "OK" button several times for it to work. EXTREMELY frustrating. Why does Vizio make great TVs and crappy remotes? I shouldn't have to spend more money to try to find a better remote. It makes me want to return the TV. Can we please have normal remote controls with number buttons and volume control? Why is the remote that came with my TV not the same as the one in the description of the TV on this site? I don't want to use the app on my phone to watch TV. I hate having my phone in the same room when I want to watch a movie. Too many distractions with texts, Messenger, FB, calls, etc. VIZIO, GIVE US BETTER REMOTES!

Great on a budget but with 5star experience!! Get one!!! Easy to set up, love the ease to access with voice control. Just press and say app you want to open and if you want to access the cable tv and you plug it in HDMI 1 just say HDMI 1 and presto you went from smart app back to cable, if you setup gaming device on hdmi 2 . And so on.. it so easy!!! Oh, no lagging on apps when watching. I set up a sound bar same brand.. it just makes the movie experience extra special!!!

Resolution for old movies, TV shows on HD plug in antenae very poor. Had to adjust to almost 100 percent brightness even on newer network shows. Sound, not so hot. Either too bass or too treble, no inbetween. If only streaming and sound bar use and at the low price, may work for you, or as a guest room TV.
