Hardwired power cord, no Ethernet, only one button

The TV works fine, but compared with my last two Vizio TVs, this one has definitely taken some shortcuts. The power cord is hardwired, instead of removable. There's no Ethernet port, so one must use Wi-Fi. There's only one button on the device itself, so it's no longer possible to adjust audio volume or change channels without the remote.

Worthy of someone's first TV!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV few months back and I had no ideas about TVs in general. This TV is what I call “Quality exceeded Price”. Absolutely rad product. Easy to use with great features.. Did not have to download any app they were built in. Though it would be nice if there was a browser in it.

The variety of embedded programming is staggering

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cut the cable a couple years ago and tried a couple other TVs. Both failed, an LG and a TCL. The picture went out on the LG and there was a big Pop and the TCL was dead. Ever since I bought the Vizio, I can actually say TV is fun again. Under Comcast, it cost money for second hand entertainment. Vizio has been great responding to my issues and questions and I have recommended the brand above others. Very satisfied and I never thought I would say that.

Great picture!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 6 months ago. So far it's been great. I've owned Vizio TVs in the past and never had any problems with them. I live out in the country so I use an antenna and stream most of my videos. As far as a smart TV goes I love it.

Rock Solid Longevity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a 70 inch Vizio. We bought over 10 years ago. We gave that to our son, and bought a 4K 75 inch Vizio few years back. Living here in Grants Pass, Oregon, we suffer power outages here and there. Regardless of what may happen, both our Vizio televisions have been reliable throughout. They have excellent pictures, great features, and most of all, are tanks. They just never break down.

Great picture. Software freezes up sometimes.

I've had this unit for just over two years. For the most part I really like it. The picture is very The size is impressive. And the features are pretty solid. The Watchfree app is not so great. It locks up on occasion and I just had to set tv back to factory settings in order to unfreeze the app. I didn't appreciate having to re enter all of my passwords again. (Yes I tried every other solution first).

TV Loads of free channels

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this TV for over a year and works same as when we bought it. Great picture and loads of free channels. Casting, photos, connection to antenna for local channels, plenty of apps preloaded.

Great value for the price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have actually bought TWO of these (50"), one for the living room and one in the basement bar. They were our first 'smart' tv's. They have been VERY dependable. Casting from smart phones is easy. One of these days I'm going to get another small form factor PC & Bluetooth keyboard for browsing via the additional HDMI inputs.

Satisfied customer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have owned several Vizio TVs and have been satisfied with their quality, performance, and value. Our recent purchase was to replace our main Vizio TV that is used all the time, that developed a problem with turning on, even though several reset attempts. I guess we just wore out the old thing.

Great features, smooth operation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this TV for about 3 years and it's still going strong. Easy access to your subscription streamers and lots of options for free viewing in the Vizio TV itself. The picture is great for the most part. The only problem I have with it is the picture presets. Bright makes it near impossible to see things that are close to white because the white just totally overwrites them. The other settings seem to make it too dark for my old eyes. So I have to swap the settings depending on what I am watching to try to find a happy medium. I can't speak to the sound as I have a soundbar (which works great). Overall a great TV with some picture tuning issues.
