I already lived the brand but this tv was the icing on the cake, the picture is great, the app AND the watchFree really got my attention. I would definitely recommend this tv to anyone and the price is great! I love it!

The picture is OK. I have tried adjusting it with all the provided settings and controls, but I just cannot get the picture to look as nice as my old Sony or my LG. Vizio keeps performing software updates that change the look and locations of the on screen looks and controls, so this is a bit annoying. My biggest disappointment is the sound, which has a high amount of treble and small amount of bass in the all 0 default setting. I set the bass to +3 and the treble to -4 and the sound is reasonable. But if you power off the TV, the next time you turn it on, the sound is again harsh. When you go to the sound settings, the settings still show but the are obviously being ignored by the software. When you change the setting, you can immediately hear the setting kick in. This means that every time I turn the TV on, I have to reset the sound settings. With all the software updates I would have expected Vizio to fix this annoyance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just set this up and I'm astounded! Gorgeous picture and the built-in speakers are actually quite good. Not quite sound-bar quality, but definitely better than most. The amount of apps is incredible, and now the only thing I need to turn my Apple TV on for is DirecTV Stream. The rest are already there. I was also surprised that it has AirPlay and Cast. Yet another reason to bypass the Apple TV. This is an impressive 4k TV--especially at its price! Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my Vizio TV and there was a defect with the sound. My tv was replaced after they worked with me to trouble shoot and a service call.. This meant a lot to me as they stood by there guarantee.

Nice TV at a good price, only issue so far is if there is a power outage when the power comes back on all the Apps clocks will be off by however long the power was out. The only way to fix it is to reset the TV. Then you have to sign back in to all apps and go through the entire startup process again. More irritating than anything. Also the same problem with all Vizio tv's, the speakers suck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a much older smart Vizio TV with this one and I am very happy with my purchase. The old tv had old technology that was not working properly when streaming, but this one is perfect and hasn't buffered or refused to open an app!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Big fan of the operating system. Love the vizio ecosystem because it's extremely easy to use and has all apps pre-installed. I used to use my cable box for streaming and pausing and fast forward was very clunky. Using the vizio system I haven't had any of those issues. Love the voice remote, picture is spectacular. Overall just an awesome TV!

Bought this to replace 4 yr old Vizio that fried its display. Same 50 in size but they've made some changes. TV is lighter and support legs are flimsy. Remote is better and app options are improved. I don't like the picture and volume control as well.

But this one blows it out of the water! All the features and free streaming, plus the setup was super easy. And I was able to connect a sound bar/woofer combination easily and quickly, just in time for the kids coming home at Thanksgiving. Awesome experience all around.

The Vizio V-Series TV sits at the intersection of performance and price. The picture is great, and the TV has great features! It is lightweight and easy to mount. I especially love the HomeKit features — it allows me to turn on and off the TV with my phone. I highly recommend this TV.
