I've only had this 50" smart TV for about a week and a half. It is a beautiful upgrade from my 40" Toshiba NON-smart TV that is just started to have some quirks but has truly served us well! I saw the price for the Vizio and read mostly amazing reviews and decided to GO for it and it has a beautiful picture!!! The only reason for not giving five stars is I'm not so impressed with the speakers. Settings allow you to tweak, but it just doesn't sound good. I decided to add a sound bar and I'm SO thankful for it!!! Wow what a difference!!! I didn't go “top of the line” getting one either. To wrap up, SO FAR . . .overall. . .I LOVE THIS TV!!! BUY IT!!!

I have had to unplug the dang thing like 4 times to get it to turn off. The remotes (even after getting a new one) work about half the time. The sound bar and tv sound go off and on sometimes and there is little help when I call. Worst decision ever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had a 65” Vizio V series for over a year and I am still in love with it. I love all the free channels and the performance is flawless. The only thing it needs is a sound bar because the volume even at max isn't very loud at times. It seems to depend on what I'm watching. For example, if I'm watching a movie from the 80s or 90s even if I have the sound maxed out, I can barely hear it. Again, it's my only mild complaint and still not worth giving less than 5 stars. I also love using the remote app. I've been a fan of Vizio for a long time and have purchased 4-5 of them! They've all been great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great TV except for setting up inputs. HDMI 1, 2 don't appear when I select input. I've checked and they're not hidden. Also has a cheap remote w/o channel buttons. Makes it hard to select antenna channels.

The audio clarity can be heard from one room to the other without any distortion. Each time we have family and friends over the TV goes on, so does the sound bar. Whether it be a TV show, ballgame, or cartoons, music channel, this product is superb. We were skeptical since most TV'S are manufactured with surround sound. The sound bar is a home theater like the great old days in any cinema. We love it and are grateful for the opportunity to win one for our second TV.

For the price this is a great value! Smart cast is super easy to use and the interface isn't laggy or glitchy at all. A few apps might not be on smart cast so I would look it up first before you purchase but if the apps you use are supported I definitely recommend this Tv! The picture and sound quality are top notch! Most name brand TV's, especially Samsung, have mediocre Tv speaker quality but this Vizio has great speakers! Just like their sound bars!

Love that it plays nice with all our iOS & Android devices. Great picture quality & easy to navigate. Like most large flat screens, the audio needs a boost. That's expected though & so we planned to add a sound bar, but discovered that our Sonos Amp does the trick connected to our Kickers. The TV has and arc hdmi so you can use that or a few other options if you want to set up a surround sound system. I do wish the wall/ bracket mounting holes were placed higher towards the center though for better weight distribution per top/bottom heavier. It's a light weight TV, but would feel better balanced if a couple of inches higher, IMO. I got a fireplace mantle pull/drop-down bracket & made some modifications to it for a perfect fit. It's a great TV. Some TVs are great for the money. This one's just a great TV at any price. With such a competitive price tag, it's really an unbeatable deal. There were 3 different brands I was on the fence between & after comparing everything for probably a ridiculously long time, I went with this one & haven't questioned my decision since. It's performance ratings & reviews are understated. I'm not what one would describe as tech savvy & am an over 50 y/o female & was able to figure out how to single-handedly set up & navigate the TV & the bracket, for that matter, if you're considering this one, my advice is to go for it. It's probably the best deal out there. It's a great value without compromise.

I bought this TV and a 4K sound system, both Vizio. From the get-go the sound bar would not work. Called support several times and each time it would work one time. Next time I turned the TV on no sound. I finally got it to work, but I had to figure it out going on weeks of messing with the TV settings. No help from support.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tv about two months ago and I love my tv. The size is perfect for my house, and it fits so well in my living room space. The audio is great; the sound can be heard throughout my house if I wanted to. 4K UHD screen is super clear. The combination of picture and sound quality that this tv offers is one of a kind.

The setup instructions are not good. Did not know it only came with a verbal controller. No explanation on how to do simple things like changing the channel. I had to call tech support for instruction and discovered I had to purchase an ordinary controller separately. Also, the print on the screen is very tiny, hard to read even the channel numbers. Other than these initial problems the TV has been doing great.
