Like it a lot

I love this little heater. I have a bedroom right above a garage and so it gets a little chilly at night time when it's pretty cold outside and this little heater heats up my bedroom fast and it gets so hot in the room that I have to turn it off. I really like that it has the remote and the timer for when I'm just trying to get the room warm before going to bed I can turn it off from my bed. I will be buying a second one for my office at my job.

I bought it yesterday and after one night of use I am already very happy with the purchase. It has 3 fan speeds and digital temperature setting up to 90 degrees. it can oscilate sideways, up and down, or both if you want. This allowed me to keep my room warm enough at night without having to heat the entire house. dring the day I move it to my office if i need it there. It also has a timer that can go from 0.5 - 12 hours. It shuts off when the desired temp is reached and tuns back on when the temp drops below what was set.

Every time I turned it on the room filled with the smell of asbestos and burning plastic. My lungs burned whenever I breathed in.

It works, but it has some funny errors. I've encountered two from two different purchases: 1. I turn it off, and decide its getting cold so turn it on again after a few minutes and the power button just blinks. It wont turn back on again unless you unplug it. Sometimes unplugging once wont solve it. 2. So I returned it and got another one, this time (after turning the unit OFF again) it displays a flashing "88". Unplugging the unit seems to fix it. When it works, it does the job. And its fairly quiet for a heater with a fan. Maybe because its still free from dust since its brand new.

I returned the first one because at times it wouldnt shut off when the temp got to where it needed to be. id walk in the room and it would be hot! and since it was run away heating it would error out. id have to unplug it ti reset it and everytime i did, the cord would be hot. i got a replacement and the same thing. also, the onboard thermometer isnt accurate. you can only use thermastatic control in the auto setting. to use one of the three , lo,med or hi settings, it just continuosly puts out heat and wont shut off. ill be returning this one as well.

Started out cutting off after 2-5hours. A couple days later may run few hours or few minutes. Probably will return.
