Great umbrella! Really well made for the price. We purchased the natural color canvas. Just beware that it does not look identical to the photo. That’s the only reason I have it 4 stars. We purchased two of these to match two we already had because ours had a rounded finial on top just like this photo. When they arrived, we saw they came with a pointed finial on top instead of the rounded ones we thought we were receiving. We kept them because they are a close match, and just went ahead and purchased replacement finials directly from the company for under $10 for 2 to put on our older umbrellas to match since they are beside one another (I actually liked the pointed ones better anyway). So, all in all we are happy. Just wish the photos were reflective of what came in the door to reduce hassle.

Like the crank kind better

Wood of questionable quality... painted and looks like plastic. Some fittings are plastic including the top decorative knob that used to be wood. Umbrella material is much lighter weight... thin actually. If you remember the old wood and canvas market umbrellas this ISN'T the one you seek.

I purchased my 2nd umbrella 7/31/21 because my first one deteriorated after a year. My 2nd one deteriorated in the same area and lasted 1-1/2 years. For my 2nd umbrella, I used my own tie in hopes that it would keep the fabric in place and not rub the wood ribs, but it still pierced through the fabric. I also purchased a warranty with the 2nd umbrella and the claim process was quick. Not recommended near the beach.

The color was beautiful but the quality not so good. The umbrella broke first time we put it into the umbrella stand. The metal key broke to trying to raise the umbrella. We did return it and got a full refund. I will stick with metal umbrellas from now on.
