We got this Lego set as a gift for my 5-year old nephew who loves construction equipment. It is a little complex and definitely has some small pieces, but he and I sat together at the kitchen table and got it all put together in about an hour and a half or so. The completed excavator looks and moves really well. Older kids can probably put it together themselves no problem, but younger children will need the help of an adult. But hey, who nowadays won't jump at the chance to revive their childhood and play with Legos?

I absolutely love this set. I feel it is an excellent value and is alot of fun not only to put together, but has alot of potential to be played with once assembled. Highly Recommend!

My son got multiple sets as he loves legos and love construction vehicles. I might return this one or gift It to another child because he got a double. He already is loving every minute of it. It is an amazing toy.

Fun to build. Very realistic

My 6 year old grandson (who is really into Legos) loved it. It took him about two and a half hours to build with a little help from grown ups. He is now enjoying playing with it more than anything else he got for Christmas. The kit had many small parts, but once built is sturdy.

This is a really disappointing build. The arms and bucket are fixed in plane, and it looks infinitive assembled. Buy any other Lego product.
