Does what I needed plus more.

Bought this TV for our den to watch when cable goes down. Great picture and sound. I won't be using any services that third parties can track. To marketing, I would have purchased two weeks earlier if the remote showed online it had a number pad needed for over air channel selection.

Worst tv I've ever owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a little over a month ago. "Smart" features are ridiculously slow since the beginning. About a week ago, when the tv is first turned on it won't do anything. You then have to go into menu and reboot the tv. Half of the apps have stopped working all together. No updates addressing anything.

Flatscreen Computer

This is a wedding anniversary gift from my wife's stepmother, and it is an impressive piece of technology. The only problem I have with it is the updating, and it does not work well with my Roku device. The screen is impressive, and the colors, graphics, and resolution are as well. A few tweaks are needed here and there but are satisfied at this juncture.

New model not as good as old model

Had to replace our Vizio that we had for 10 years. Loved it better than the new Vizios. Easy to set up but didn't like the idea of this new one packaged without written instructions. Sound is not as great as our old one. May end up buying a sound bar. The sound has a vibration noise occasionally. The worst thing about this tv is if you're sitting to the sides of it it fades out. You have to sit directly in front of it to see a perfect picture. We had to rearrange our living room chairs! This is disappointing. Our first Vizio was perfect. That's why we purchased this brand again. Next time we might consider a different name brand. Although it's not a horrible tv. Just not as good as our old one.

Quality tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this tv to replace an older one for the master bedroom, sound and picture quality are very good, especially in light of the price we gave. I had another Vizio tv and it was built like a tank, lasted a long time and met our needs for many years.

GREAT TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a reasonably priced 40" smart tv for the bedroom when I saw this TV. Having owned Vizios in the past and liking them I decided to buy this one. I am so glad I did. This tv has a great picture and streams flawlessly. Only downside is you have to go thru several screens to set the sleep timer instead of pushing a single button as on the Samsung this is replacing. Other than that I am extremely happy with this purchase.

VIZIO D-Series 24" TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV for my Office desk to monitor news and use as a monitor for my additional computer. Perfect size, great picture quality, easy to use remote, 2 HDMI ports, with Google Chromecast and Apple TV+ built-in. Nice!!

Great except

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased two of these 42” this year to replace my 55” that went bad. For some reason they don't seem very loud. It's like the volume was fine at first and then now I have to max it to be able to hear it 15 ft away. Nothing a sound bad wont fix though. Easy to setup and even easier to use. Great set up love Vizio products.

My Very 1st Smart TV

I have owned Vizio TVs before, in fact, I have 2 32" in each of the bedrooms, but when the 40" (owned for 14 ys) gave out 3 weeks ago, I knew I could depend on the 32" to get me thru till I could find another 40", And I did!! Not bad for a 70 yr old independent woman.

Already starting to crap out.

I bought the TV less than a year ago and it's already starting to have problems. First off the User Interface for the smart tv is horrible. The ads are a nuisance, I shouldn't be getting advertisements on a tv I own. Secondly the UI just drags. It's slow. Finally and the biggest problem, it now just turns itself off. I only use this tv in my bedroom to watch tv before bed and the tv just randomly turns itself off. I've done dozens of resets, power cycles and factory resets. Still just turns itself off.
