Great picture. Slightly slow response

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture is top quality. It's sleek and light weight. Great quality. The response with the remote though, is a little slow. When you click an app it turns on slowly. When you press the volume button it takes a second longer to respond. Nothing that would make me nor purchase a Vizio but noticeable. Still my second Vizio purchase.

Live live live Vizio

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third Vizio TV and I will not buy any other brand. They are wonderful. The colors are bright and vivid sound is amazing. You don't even need a sound bar. It'll be a big mistake if you buy a different brand this one is solid.

Amazing

Vizio is a great brand.

Great products! I could go into a great deal of technical mumbo jumbo but if you're reading this you might have read a lot on this subject already anyway. Bottom line is; Visio makes great product. Read the specs, use the web to get your head around all the technical ins and outs and voila you'll find something in a Vizio that fits your specific criteria.

Impressive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I waited 5 months until now thatv does it all as advert my tube tv quit working, did installation and added a 4k tv box, I have all the joys of a kid that had just gotten an Christmas gift. This tv does it all as advertised and even more ! Thank You !

Smart tv but not so smart instructions

This is truly a plug and watch, great color nice and clear pictures. When the Internet disconnects it tells you to push the menu button to reset. Um, there is nothing on the remote that says menu. So you have to just push a channel until it works. Also, there's no fast fwd or rewind buttons so you have to watch things from start to finish.

Comes with preset apps

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tv comes with a variety of preset apps but it would be nice to be able to download just the apps you want. They don't support a couple of apps so make sure you check which subscriptions you have before purchasing. You can always cast an app that's not support to the tv but it's a bit annoying.

I would be fired from the TV industry for such UI

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I spent 20 years in the digital TV industry and I would be fired forever if I implemented such a dumb, slow, unresponsive, terrible user interface. It turns out that the Smartcast section was designed, managed and developed by a team of junior programmers from a kindergarten. "Vizio Watch Free+" is even worse: switching channels (up/down) takes 7 seconds, direct access by channel number - 13 seconds!! No more comments...

vizio 40 inch D series

piece of crap. the backlight strip went out and havent really used it much at all. it never really worked good to begin with. ill never buy another vizio, actually anything american made, ever again! Don't do it big homie! im your conscious don't do it!

Don't recommend

Don't recommend this tv. It's fine for regular cable. But it functions like an older computer. It will just shut off for no reason. Going to an app is a nightmare, it takes forever to get to the app. Will often freeze. Will have to disconnect the tv almost everyday or more often to reboot. You get what you pay for. Will not buy another Vizio.
