Great product

This is our 4th Vizio tv, bought this one to replace a 7 year old 32" vizio TV in our daughters room as upgrade also have 50" in master bedroom and one in the travel trailer. They are all very clear, function well and dependable. They are also very well priced with a lot of options.

Good price, terrible performance.

I picked this TV up for black friday to add into a spare bedreoom. After unboxing, I got into setup right away so my visiting parents could watch whatever shows they wanted. After approximately an hour of updates, I noticed the app menu seemed to be really laggy. I restarted the TV, only to have it lose connection. Being tired from a long day I figured I'd give it another shot on the next day. When I booted it up again, I was met with another screen where the TV spent about 5 minutes searching for the network, followed by another hour of downloading updates 1 of 8 (the internet connection at my house is typically hitting around 90-110 mbps, so I'm not sure why the updates are progressing so slowly, or so often). An hour in on night two and the main screen is finally loading, however attempting to install or even browse the app catalogue seems to be more than this little TV can handle. 24 hours into ownership and I'm thinking this particular black friday "deal" was about $198 more than the TV is worth.

Flaking App Software

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The video is decent. The speakers are horrible, a soundbar is a must. The Smartcast software is very flaky. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The only real way to fix it is to do a factory reset which is a hassle. Then hope the next software update doesn't screw it up again.

Excellent picture and sound but otherwise lacking.

One of the worst TVs that I have bought. The set itself freezes constantly. The WiFi does not pick up very well and disconnects often. The screen set up is horrible, constantly having to search through the multiple preloaded apps to find one that I actually use. I haven't found a way to remove apps that I don't actually use (not saying there isn't one, I just haven't found it). The picture on the screen is clear and the sound is excellent. The tv would be better used directly hooked with an Ethernet cable or placed next the the Wi-Fi router.

Love this TV!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV a few months ago and I have been loving it! It was incredibly easy to set up, and it already had all the streaming service apps downloaded when I bought it so I just had to type in my account info. Image and sound quality is surprisingly great for a smaller-sized tv.

The PERFECT tv for my dorm room!!!

Bad purchase

do not buy this tv. Constantly gets stuck on off mode or on mode. have to unplug tv to reset. Updates makes you jump thru hoops just to get to the channel you want to want watch. Latest problen tv is stuck on vizio free channel. Can't watch live tv. Tried to reset for 30 minutes. Next the remote will become a permanent fixture in the tv. Very disappointed in this SMART TV.

Love my Vizio 43”

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had it now about two weeks, the picture is clear and the sound is good. The remote is the only issue I have had. It does not seem to have the range of others I have used. Every now and then I have to get closer to the TV for it to work.

Another Vizio

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Actually I bought this 2 years ago, as a small footprint TV for the kitchen, purely for streaming, but with the resolution and smart features one expects, at a good price. It fully meets all that, and looks good as well. In fact like it so much that when we needed to upgrade another TV in the house recently we purchased a 32" version of the same Vizio model. Good features, easy to set up. Recommended.
