Just out of the box and this shredder smacks of features. It ran thru my stack of shredding in no time. Was extremely impressed. You get what you pay for and this seems to be the sweet spot!

My review is based upon have this shredder for just two weeks. It performs exactly as described by manufacturer. Big surprise was quiet operation. It is too early to comment on durability. This explains the four star rating.

very quiet, love the pull out drawer to empty the shredder bin and you don't have to lift the HEAVY motor every time to empty or push paper down to fill more.

Having gone thru and burned out 2 other shredders, this shredder is fabulous! It is so much faster than the others and it takes so many more sheets! The capacity is much greater, too! Love it!
