I've tried other brands and nothing compares to Fellowes. I'm using this shredder for the home office and it is doing the job; especially no paper jams.

This is a great shredder for use in a small office environment. Much more practical than previously purchased brands. The 16 sheet capacity and being jam proof are definite pluses!

I purchased the shredder not knowing that it would be everthing that the description was everything that it said. I really like the quietness of operation and the auto off when it finishes shredding.

It works well. Basket fills up quickly. It doesn't like too many papers at one time. It has easy to read problem solving display. It tells you if bin is full or if your putting to much in at a time. So far so good.

The shredder is surprisingly quiet and very efficient. The wheels were a lttle difficult to install but once you push in hard enough they all finally catch.

Quiet. Love the front basket removal when time to empty. Also can view how full basket is. Item is heavier than I expected but shreds many sheets at a time.

Very quiet running compared to other we have had and easy to dump shredded paper. Others we had to remove the top motor with cutting head which was top heavy.

Jan 2010 I bought the first unit. I have it for my very small home office where I handle book keeping for 3 charities. This shredder was working great. I have in in a carpeted room. I walked over to shred paper one day, about 6 steps, I touched the power button on the front top and accidently gave it a small static shock. Not bad but it immediately gave a warning that the paper drawer was open. It was not and it never worked again. I called the manufacture. They replaced it under warrantee with out question. Great service!!. 1 year old at the time. I went 2 more years plus 3 months, being very careful not to shock it again. Oiled it after every basket empty and it was working great. Well yesterday a friend went to the machine, it got a slight shock and now it is dead. I called the manufacture to find out where to take it for repair. Long story short, they are replacing it again free! But they said this is the last time. I am surprised at this great service but the machine is too sensitive. They said the shock was not the problem. They said these are not repairable. Throw away.

have only had this for a short while, so have not used it much but i like it.
