I purchased this item about a month ago and my spouse uses it everyday! He loves it and was glad I purchased it!!

This is the best shredder for home and office use that I have ever owned. It is powerful and quiet. You can shred alot in a short time.

I purchased this very same model (Powershred 79Ci) in 2011 and it held until August-2025 when finally the selector switch (for on and forward/reverse running the shredder wheel) quit working -- and the cutting wheels also were becoming dull. I was very happy with the 79Ci and therefore purchased the replacement. I can highly recommend this cross cut shredder.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this shredder to replace a Fellowes shredder that I had for over 20 years. She died! I looked at what was available online, but I truly believed nothing is better than a Fellowes. My last shredder proved that. I read reviews to do a comparison of a variety of shredders, but again, nothing beats a Fellowes. Thank you for continuing in making an Excellent Product!!

bin capacity is small. Shredder itself works well, so far

multiple pages with staples - no problem. I like the features for the Fellowes 79CI.

Great shredder does everything it suppose to do.

It overheats very quick. And it takes quite a while to cool down before you can reuse it.

Price point at Walmart was less that other suppliers; quality is very good for home offices.
