I replaced my old LG led tv with this smart tv and im really pleased with everything so far sound is great and the quality image is close as good as a $2000 tvs out there! The tv is a light and a little fragil In comparison with my old one I purchased a protection plan for under $60 for 4 years so im not really worried about breaking down in the future For $300 is the best tv that u can buy I truly recommend it to any one

After checking the entire house we determined that the smell was coming from the tv. We unplugged the tv from the outlet. The next morning we could still smell the burned oder from the tv. We returned the tv for a full refund.

I do have another LG tv that is smaller, but figured if that picture was good the 55" would be equal. After setting it up I was not completely pleased. The picture was not very bright and no matter what I did I could not improve it. After a couple of days I went back through the settings and saw a Power Saver setting which was on. Once I turned it off the picture improved dramatically. I am now a happy customer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought 2 weeks ago at Sam’s. Returned it a few days later. Would not stay connected to Wi-Fi. All other devices in the house had no trouble connecting and remaining connected to the house Wi-Fi. Did a reboot and refreshed the connection all to no avail. LG website wasn’t any help. A quick internet search yielded results of this being a common problem. But a smart TV is worthless without an Internet connection so back to the store it went. I do not recommend this item.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tv about 2 weeks ago. So far so good. The feet could be spaced closer. I had to put a board on my stand to accommodate the television. The only problem I have so far is, is that it seems to dim itself at times but it seems to be getting better at holding the brighter setting. I love the remote. It works at a very far distance, unlike the ROKU remote I had on my Hitachi tv where I had to be within 15 feet or it wouldn't work. I love to be able again to put in the channel numbers unlike the way the ROKU made you do it. I guess I'm not a fan of ROKU. It has a very good picture and fires up almost instantly when turned on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After much research, I found this TV to be best fit for my lifestyle.The picture is crisp, the functions are easy to use, it was easy to hang on the wall. There is very little heat generation compared to my old plasma TV. Considering all things, I found this TV to be the best bang for the buck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The operating system is quite good and no bugs I could find so far. The screen is quite good when showing pictures throughout the screen. But the light bleed on the screen is sometimes annoying when trying to show letters such as movie credits on a complte black back screen. Given the price I pay for it, I choose to ignore.

Some issues with disconnects on 5GHz wifi usually in the evenings, but I think that may be because it's quite a ways from my router/wifi unit.

The sound is a little weird at times; seems too low sometimes but maybe that's just me needing to get used to the unit. The TV has turned on at night by itself a couple of times, which is weird, but it auto-updated this morning so maybe that will stop.

My grandsons helped set the TV up because I had injured my back and could not lift anything. It took about 45 minutes to set it up and running. I am very please with the results.
