Problems unresolved

Within the first month we needed a replacement of a module that powered the TV. It was down three days. Now the TV will not hold streaming channels-drops numerous times while watching. We go through all the mechanations, clear cache, unplug for 3-5 minutes, check internet speed, etc. Filed for support, left telephone number two days ago, waiting on callback. Other then that, picture and sound is great, broadcast stations are fine.

Great pic until there is no pic remaining

Bright and clear, but software is a mess

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I am very impressed with the picture quality on this TV, but that's where it ends. As for the software and navigation, I've found it to be slow and confusing. Switching between inputs is cumbersome to say the least. The remote is poorly designed as well, and is not intuitive. I wish there was a way to declutterbthe home screen.

Great TV, Menu system is the best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The menu system is really nice because we can access local tv, cable tv & streaming services from the main menu. There is a memory of all the things you have watch no matter where the signal is coming from.

Terrible quality

Bought this TV in February and have had to have the board replaced not just once but twice due to HDMIs failing. And I'm told they'll just keep replacing them if it continues to fail. We have a total of 6 Samsung tvs in the house and this one is the only one we've had issues with.. also theoretically the highest quality one we own.

Breathtaking picture, awesome sound but slow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We stream tv and movies as well as watch over the air (antenna) programming. Great for live sports as there is no delay over the air. Samsung channels are free and plentiful. My only concern is the operating system seems slow to respond often and actually freezes for long moments frequently. We have strong internet and can stream on multiple devices when we wish to so I believe the lag is limited to this tv.

This TV has a great picture, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy with this TV... most of the time. This might be an issue for a very small audience, but my primary viewing experience is not steaming (but I do watch streaming), it's not discs (but I do watch Blu Ray, 4K Blu Ray and DVDs)... it's cable, and not cable thru a cable box, but cable through a Tivo. Not common these days. I understand that,., but it's frustrating to me to the nth degree that's it's a roll of the dice that the TV may or may not recognize that there is a device hooked up to that HDMI port when I turn the TV on or switch to that port. No matter which HDMI port I use, I often have to unplug and replug the HDMI cable in order for the TV to detect the Tivo. I can go over a month and everything works great consistently, but then out of the blue I get a frustrating message that's there's no device connected to the port. I unplug the cable, re-insert it, and after 20-30 seconds the Tivo is detected again and I can go on. I have called Samsung support 10-15 times, they have replaced the main board twice, but they can't solve the issue other than suggesting that I no longer need to use the Tivo. That is not an option. This is the third generation of Samsung TVs I've purchased and until this one, each has handled the Tivo perfectly fine. Something has apparently changed in the way that Samsung TVs now detect devices, so regardless of the technical specs and reviews, this will likely be the last Samsung TV I purchase.
