I have been trying to budget recently, and decided to start buying meat in bulk. I was hesitant to purchase pounds of chicken breast at one time, however, I have been a loyal and satisfied customer of Sam's for many years. I purchased boneless skinless chicken breast, and was quite pleased that the price per pound was lower than any other place I had checked. When cooking the chicken breasts, there was not too much water, the chicken was good quality, and juicy and flavorful. I will continue to purchase meat products in bulk, at Sam's club.

This particular bag of chicken had several chicken breasts that were rubbery and full of gristle. It was not edible and I ended up tossing the bag after picking out a handful of pieces.

Sams used to sell chicken breasts that were individually sealed in a 7 lb bag quantity. Wish that option would come back, these ice coated breasts still get freezer burn

Nasty, tough, huge, bland, and dry chicken the size of my foot. I ate 4 chicken breasts out of the bag (trying to cook it different ways), but it was helpless.

This chicken shrinks more than half it's size when cooked. It leaves these nasty fatty clumps in the water that are not edible. Use to be good chicken..now it's just a waste of money.

This is A1 chicken. i will get it EVERY time. its thick juicy and of course you can cook it however you want. Amazing on the grill! 10 pounds for 20 bucks. cant beat it!

Due to histamine issues, I need to eat flash frozen chicken breast. This saves me the hassle of dealing with meat that has sat for awhile. The bags are great size, great value, and make eating a daily portion easy to do.

Pretty sure this is what’s making me and my roommate sick. I’m on a diet so almost all my meals contain chicken. Up til a month ago, there haven’t been any issues and no changes to my meal plan. Tried some fresh chicken from WM, after a week of being sick daily and we didn’t get sick. So the only remaining factor is that this batch was contaminated. I did also notice a bunch of freckles today after I thawed some. :/

Basic as can be. Sizes vary from small to nearly turkey sized which makes cooking times uneven if used whole. Butchering is uneven with lots of bits dangling off. The fresh chicken breast are even worse, if possible. The old fresh packaging at least let you see what you were buying.

The fresh packs were out of stock for a while so I tried frozen. Was extremely happy with the quality and quantity of MM 10lb bag of frozen chicken, especially when it was $18.88, then jumped to $27.98, and now another increase to $29.98. Guess they have to stay competitive but, at $29.98, I’m looking elsewhere. Price hikes earned 4 stars otherwise would be 5 stars for sure!
