I very recently drove from Texas to Maine with my 2006 Chevy Silverado WT. Extended cab, long bed, 5300 lbs, and a new set of Firestone Destination X/T tires. I was a little concerned before leaving. The tread is pretty aggressive and I wasn't sure how well it would do at interstate highway speeds and hurricane torrential rain coming through the southeast. The tires were great at highway speed and a number of slower passage muddy, heavy run off water detours. They also navigated some heavy road construction with rough lanes and uneven surfaces. They did have a slight hum at speed, but the ride quality was surprisingly good. They looked like new after the first 2,200+ miles.

I have a 2018 Chevy 2500 HD 4WD PU with the Duramax engine. Use this vehicle to pull our 5th wheel trailer (about 13,000 pounds) and our boat (about 1,500 pounds). Use the truck for on-road and off-road travel. 40,000 miles on tires, of that 12,500 were pulling our 5th wheel. Rotate about every 5,000 miles, have had the tires rebalanced twice and the front end realigned once since bought the tires. At 40,000 I am replacing them, 3/32 of tread on two tires and 5/32 on other two, likely due to the more worn tires being on rear when pulling trailer more often. Live in a mountain valley at high elevation so 3-Peak rating was important at initial purchase. Tires have worn evenly. While not as quite as a highway tire, for an "aggressive" all terrain tire they are quiet and provide a comfortable ride. Noise has increased some as tires have become more worn. Traction in all situations I have been in, (dry, wet, snow, ice, mud, gravel/rock) has been everything I expected. While I wish we had gotten closer to the 50K warranty tread life, I am satisfied enough with the tread life we got given how we use this vehicle that I am buying another set. this if my second set of the XT tires, I am very happy with the traction I get off road and in the deep snow of the Midwest winters. I get a fairly quiet ride on drive payment and great traction on dry and wet roads alike. Tire has just enough flex to hold traction like the tires are glued to the road in dry weather but stiff enough to have long wear life. If these tires do not outlast the truck I will be buying another set. I put several hundred miles on my truck in a year, the last set I had lasted me for over 3 years and the front tires when I changed them still had a great deal of tread left on them to the point that I kept them for spare and replacement purposes. Deep tread gives excellent traction in snow and great water channeling in heavy rain to prevent hydroplaning.

Just wanted to say Firestone crew did an awesome job In a short time frame. While waiting for my vehicle they had some upset customers that don't understand the process of how the work is done. But the staff handled it great and that make me want to come back for future purchases. With the new Firestone Destinations I put on my jeep wrangler the death wobble I was experiencing totally stopped. I was shocked after a year of trying to fix it, it was the tires. I switched from BF goodwrich to Firestone and am super happy. Thanks Fire stone. Justin

This will be my 4th set of 265/70r17 between my two 3/4 ton pickups and I plan to go bigger to see if they will impress me even more. They are amazing in deep snow mud sand and rock. And they are great on bad ice as long I kept it 55. I highly recommend these tires I put them to work every day and thru play seeing if I can get it stuck down unplowed roads. I hope they make these tires forever because I believe and trust these tires more than an other and will continue to buy them.

I want to say how disappointed I was to find out how loud these tires are. I read the reviews and they said they were quiet. They are not quiet! I had BF KO2 tires before and they are quiet. I cheeped out and went for the XLTs what a mistake. I have to live with these for 2 years. You get what you pay for.

Tires look great, but are expensive. 285/60/20 XT are very durable but quite noisy on the road. Also from Street Tires to A/T's, when on the highway you can feel a lot of the Rumble. If you don't need AT's, this brand with street threads are probably the smoothest most durable choice

Had the tire in my durango for about 2 years now still have plenty of tread life. Couldn't be happier with my purchase they been thought all the weather and performed perfect in all conditions with proper care of tires and vehicle these tire will go farther then 50k miles when these either wear out or dry rot I will be buying another set of 5 from my suv

I've always been a Toyo person. But when the XT first came out. I decided to try them. I really enjoy the awesome winter driving capabilities and how quiet they are through the entire life of the tread. Even with heavy oilfield use. The only time I've had a flat is from a nail. Great durability when you are drive the gravel roads doing Mach Jesus with a truck full of heavy equipment. I'm definitely going to put them on my two personal trucks when it comes time.
