I bought this deck box 2 years ago and it has been perfect. Handles everything we need it to for the pool and has held up very well over 2 winters and summers in Illinois. Looks and functions like brand new. Great purchase. Now buying one for my daughter and her pool.

Definitely not water tight. Assembly was easy, BUT the front and back panel are slightly warped, which leaves gaps in the corners and along the front and back at the bottom of the box. I am sure it is assembled correctly. I contacted Keter via email, they initially responded quickly. Then requested additional photos. Asked me what parts I needed to make it right. Since it’s completely assembled, and per Keter is not intended to be taken apart, too big to fit in my SUV to return, which was one option they offered, they escalated to someone in manufacturing. It took several days to get a response, “they” said the side panels were installed upside down, which is impossible, the hinges, fit into a recess, that is only at the top of the side panel. I sent more photos and have not received any further communication from them. It’s been about a week. So I am going to silicone the seams along the bottom on all four sides. 2 stars because it is big, it will hold all of my outdoor cushions. Comparatively speaking it was a good buy, just disappointing I will have to Mcgyver it to make it suitable for the intended purpose.

Purchased this on sale and put together the same day. Two of us put it together right before the rain hit us again. The box is big once put together. We should have paid more attention to the dimensions. Unfortunately we won’t be using it for the original intended use. But it did slide right into the Edge with the seats down, no problem! There were a few quality control issues, mostly the plastic cutter didn’t cut the parts cleanly and left some undesired pieces on which a utility knife shaved easily. There is one piece that the paint gun may have had air or oil in it as it’s not painted well. Pay attention to the instructions which are pictures and the pieces are stamped with the numbers you won’t have an issue. We did find out that the metal that is screwed in goes one way to match up with the holes and not the other. We also put it together on the cardboard box so our brick patio wouldn’t scratch it up. There were several white spots that I will have to clean up off the plastic. They’ve gotten into the “grain” and are not easily wiped off with a damp microfiber cloth. Having experience with blue prints, the plastic hinge was what baffled us the most LOL. The plastic hinge also concerns me the most as I wish it were metal and not plastic, just my preference. The other thing I’d like to see Keeter do is have a type of finger pull for the lid much like they have put on the sides. I do believe it would make it safer and easier to open and shut the lid. However, it may not be possible with the metal bar that’s screwed in. The metal hinges are a nice feature. I did open the top and found water drops on the top of the sides. How that happened I have no idea as the top does cover the sides.

Seems sturdy and was easy enough to put together. Have only had it 2 weeks and there hasn't been any rain, so not able to tell if it is waterproof. Structurally I am pleased. This is the smaller of the two offered at the time and this one is quite large. We are fitting 6 sofa cushions and 4 chairs cushions in and it is full.

I purchased this box less than a year ago. When it came it had a slight bow to it but I already had one purchased one the month before and hoped it would flatten after being out of the packaging. It became progressively worse. The metal hinges started bending at the hinge point. I emailed letter about this and they chose not to respond.

Product seems decent but one of the molded products was not wide enough to fit correctly. Sent an email to them after calling number and being directed to internet. They responded they'd get back to me. Then, three days later they sent me an email telling me the description and pictures and other info I provided would have to be put into a claim on the web. So Now it's five days since I asked of rhelp and they want me to go do everything again so I can get the product I paid for in the first pace. Wondering if they'll every send me the $0.05 molded plastic piece that didn't work.

POOR KETER CUSTOMER SERVICE. Great service from sams club. I purchased this from Sam's while it was on sale. the order took a week+ to get here but that was a FedX problem. The package arrived damaged and I called Keter. The person on the phone stated they could not help and I had to file a customer service request online to get help. I also asked about time frames and they stated 2 days to respond and 1 week for replacement parts. I filled out the customer service request and still heard nothing from them 10 days later I sent a complaint letter via email and received another customer complaint request number. They are the worst service company that I have ever dealt with. Sam's helped when I called them. Sam's sent a call tag for the old one. and sent me a replacement that arrived in better condition all within 4 days. 5 stars for sams customer service and 0 stars for Keter.

Great outdoor box but the instructions are not clear. You have to pay close attention & review them as you work. When it’s together it looks great though. It is also sturdy sides but would not be good if you have to move it often since it’s heavy but bottom is a bit thin.

I ordered one of these. It arrived with a large crack in it. I was sent a replacement and it had a crack and a chunk out of it. The box was clearly damaged. I think it would have been a great product but apparently whoever is selling and shipping them uses no caution when handling the items. Sam's made it right!!! Glad they did!!!

Wow! What a great outside box!! I absolutely love it!! So much so that I’ll probably buy another one!! I put it together by myself and it wasn’t hard at all! There was about a one inch crack where the first bar slid in but doesn’t seem to hinder the stability of the box at all!! I weigh 130 lbs and stood inside the box to better reach the screws and it was very sturdy!! It’s also large enough that it holds all my outside cushions with room left over!! I read a few reviews that claimed it was not rain proof, not sure about that yet but it can easily be lined in a heavy duty plastic if that occurs! I diffently recommend this outside box!!!
