I tried them the first time when I was out of town for a wedding. I expected your basic shave with a cheep razor. I only had bar soap and the razor glided smoothly, by my surprise. I received a silky, smooth, and soft shave. No cuts, razer burn, or missed spots with the simple functional razer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are good quality, reasonably priced, women's disposable razors that are easy to use and pretty too. Bic offers so many different models of disposable razors, picking one can be a confusing. These particular ones are a package of eight of the basic Soleil model with three blades in a fixed head with a lubricating strip (for sensitive skin) and a rubberized handle. You get four very pretty colors: purple, pink, red, and yellow. The handle of the razor is easy to hold, even when wet. I prefer three blades over four or five. I get a closer shave and the blades are easier to maneuver around the ankles and under the arms. The lubricating strip activates when wet and helps to move things along. A pivoting head might be a nice addition, but is not really necessary. These work just as well as far more complicated and expensive razors.

The razors also last a while so I do not need to buy replacements as often as other razors. I have been using the same razor for about a month now and it is still sharp and leaves my skin feeling amazing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They get the job done. they dont have extreme moisturizing strips but they work fine and i didnt get irritation from them. the plastic thing kind of protects your skin. it doesnt give you the closest shave though. they coupons make them half off which is great because razors are expensive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the opportunity as a BzzAgent to try out the BIC¨ Soleil¨ Glow¨ Disposable Razor. I?m not a ?Razor Snob? by any means but I am pretty lazy about my daily legs and underarms hair shaving routine. What kind of full time career girl has time for all that? Well, I make time for it each day, but I?ll admit that the process is often rushed. I almost always stick with the easiest route, which means I use disposable razors that do not include detachable, replaceable cartridges. I like to use disposable razors that come in one whole piece, which makes it easy to just grab a new one when I feel a razor blade getting dull. I only use razors in the shower and tackle the chore while conditioner is sitting in my hair. My only requirements for a good razor is that it be sharp enough to provide a smooth shave in one quick pass, but not too sharp to leave nicks and cuts. Sounds like an easy request, but that?s not always the case. My skin is not overly sensitive but I can't stand having a bunch of nicks and cuts on smooth shaved legs and especially on my underarms. On the flip side, some razors I have used are so dull, even when brand new, that I swear the hair seems to have grown back in less than 12 hours. Along comes the BIC¨ Soleil¨ Glow¨. Not only is the Soleil¨ Glow¨ completely disposable (with no replacement cartridges to buy), this cute 3-blade handheld razor fits perfectly in the palm of your hand and has a nice grip. It has lubricating strips with Vitamin E and Aloe which make your skin feel extra smooth and moisturized. For the first few shaves, you might even be fine without using a shaving gel because it?s so moisturizing. This can be a big advantage for consumers who need a quality disposable razor for a short overnight trip. Let's get serious, who wants to bring shaving gel if you?re only going to be away for a night or two? The head also pivots up and down which is a really nice feature for legs especially. I love how it hydrated my skin, and it gave me such a close shave. I?ll certainly be repurchasing these on my own.

After probably close to a decade of avoiding them at all costs- I really welcomed the opportunity to try a new type of disposables. Unfortunately, I feel like nothing has changed in the disposable razor technology department. Although these razors are very pretty and affordable- I probably won't continue using them. Even with completely moist, well lathered skin- this was not a silky shave at all. And I did develop significant razor burns on my legs. I also found the head to be difficult to maneuver in more difficult and intimate areas. I'll be the first person to admit that I have always tended to shy away from 3 blade, disposables for these exact reasons. But, I was really hoping for a nice, new product I can use for travel.

I would really recommend this type of razor to anyone!
