TLDR: the E8 makes the best coffee I’ve had and is simple to use and simple to maintain.
I bought the Jura E8 after months of analysis into which super automatic was the one I would pull the trigger on. I knew after a day it was going to be a Jura, but I struggled to find which was the right model. If you’re like me, this was a very big investment and I wanted to get it right. So far, after two weeks, I think I can say that I made the right choice. This machine is simple to use, simple to clean, and makes a phenomenal cup of coffee or shot of espresso. The coffee only drinks are made with the center spout and the coffee and milk drinks are made completely with the right spout. No need to move the cup or turn a nob to add milk, just click the button and it’s done. This comes with a straw, the milk cleaning bin, and some of the milk cleaning tablets. Cleaning the milk system is so very easy, and needs to be done each day you decide to make a milk drink. The rest of the cleaning is as simple as running the rinse system, dumping the grounds, pouring the water from the dip tray, and rinsing it all off. Making coffee is as simple as touching a button, but to get the flavor you desire you may have to tweak the strength, grind, or serving size, but that is the fun part. Once you get it down, the machine is so consistent that it does the rest!
