I'd definitely recommend it for someone who isn't going to feel compelled to immediately take apart, like a 4 year old.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We loved that the princesses projects were individually wrapped. we're working on one princess at a time. i had feared it would just be one big puzzle. each princess comes with instructions and the manual says very clearly what numbered bags you need. glorious.

She tried to put it together as intended, but I think she had a lot more fun just playing with the pieces however she wanted to. I think that's what's so great about LEGOs - that they can be assembled in so many different ways.
