The chair is really cute, but it is a lot smaller than i anticipated. Perfect for kids under 7. But older kids don't fit well. Also mine showed up with excessive brown scuffs on it.

My 6yo wanted his room decorated like "the beach" and up pops this chair and I was worried about it. But after putting it together and having out 8yo sit in it first made us realize that we're going to be getting more of these. It is really easy to put together and if you put the safety strap on it then it really is able to swing on gently without an issue. Only reason it isn't 5 stars is the paint was pretty damaged in a few spots but hey, the chair is really amazing. If you are on the fence about it then just get it.
