Replaced factory original Hankook tires on 2018 Honda CR-V, at 32,000 miles, and I cannot believe the difference in smoothness and handling! The local Honda dealer tried to convince me that Continental tires had surpassed the Michelin in quality, but the price of these Defender LTX tires at Sam's convinced me to use what I have always used and go with the Michelins. My local East Town Sam's in Knoxville, TN Tire Department did an outstanding job of mounting and balancing the tires, to the extent that they are in perfect balance at all speeds. The handling response seems quicker on turn in and straight line stability which has always been great in this particular CR-V has been enhanced. The only distraction to perfection is felt when going over expansion joints or cross lane seams in some asphalt. This tire is firmer than the old Hankook's and you can feel the expansion joints, although it does not upset the car nor the passengers. The Hankook Tire had flat spotted along the edges of at least one of the tires and the road noise and constant droning was both heard and felt from around the 12,000 mile point and only got worse. I actually thought that I had a Wheel Bearing going out, but the Michelins totally eliminated any road noise. Some have reported excessive road noise, but that is certainly not the case on my car. Check the Tire Pressure after they are mounted, and make sure that you are following the Manufactures Recommended Tire Pressure, as many installers will inflate the tires to the sidewall listed pressure which will make any tire ride rougher, and the road noise will be amplified. Cannot comment as to Treadwear as I only have approximately 400 miles on these tires, but so far, they are the best tires I have ran, and I have always ran Michelins since 1970 on VW's, BMW's, Buick Sport Coupes, Odyssey Vans, and Oldsmobile's.

These tires do pretty good in most conditions (dry wet snow dirt). They are comfortable and pretty quiet. The only issue I had was when it was wet, and I had to accelerate quicker than usual the front tires word spin for a second but breaking in the wet conditions was fine.

Have had these tires for over a year. Threads are still looking brand new. Come with 80k miles, and come with free rotation from the dealer where they were purchased. Will definitely be putting the same tires when I replace my wife's SUV tires this winter

Michelin Defender Tires They make great affordable tires, and safety is a must on the mountain in the wintertime. Great performance, smooth riding, quiet tires, very comfortable ride. Installation was a bit pricey,I need 5 new ones on my SUV now. Yes,I recommend these tires.

These are great tires that last long and ride smooth! We put them on our Mazda CX-9. The tire shop guy actually recommended them and said he had just put them on his wife's suv and they are great. We do a lot of highway driving so these were great for our needs. The tread is super smooth and very quiet. I will continue to use Michelin defender tires with my suvs.

Have previously bought Michelin tires because they are pretty durable, the traction is decent and they're comfortable The handle isn't as great on my truck so I may need to look at different brands but they do work and get the job done in the summer months. But when the winter comes I have to make sure that I have a year-round tire with really good tread

I absolutely love these tires and honestly, I wouldn't put anything else on my vehicle. The lasts set I purchased lasted 9 years! No, o don't drive a lot, but I live in Charleston, SC, and the summer sun and sea breeze can wreck a good thing fast. These tires hold up!!! They have excellent traction and they are just glide down the road.

I am female, and dont know a whole of technical stuff about tires, but I do know I am really happy to have these tires for my Tahoe. they seem to make the drive quieter and when we hit a slick patch of road while driving in very cold temps the tires dug in and we did not skid. made me feel very safe.... a big plus-they look very cool on my Tahoe, and after driving on them for a several weeks the still look brand new.
