I bought a package of swing chain hooks that screw into the wood beam to replace the rusty broken one that came with kit around 14 years ago. I replaced it with the new ones and in less than a month, the bolt broke again almost in the same spot as the older one. My daughter might way 95 lbs soak and wet! I'm so glad she's no longer a toddler or young child. I'm also glad she wasn't hurt! Steel shouldn't break like that!!

Overall I very much like the quality of my playset. I do have one issue however, I have 3 bad deck boards. Two boards have sizeable splits in the ends of them, and one other has a sizable not that fell out, how do I go about getting replacement deck boards?_x000D_ my model # is 204070602, its the mountaineer with timbershield and deluxe green canopy cedar playset.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This play set was installed at the beginning of spring and my 3-year-old plays with it everyday! He loves both slides, the swings and trapeze, all of different things to climb (rock wall, rope ladder, regular ladder, and the monkey bars add-on). He even asks to have a picnic lunch in his play set.

Product is made of quality material and workmanship. The manual contains detailed information. Only complaint at this point in time (kids have not started to use it yet) is the manual steps, parts and hardware are not labeled and outlined in a manner that makes for effecient assembly. It takes time to reorder and organize all the work and hardware, then correlate those to each step in the manual. There is an opportunity to do some of this as part of labeling and the manual. (I understand that these kits are modular and are put together, but there still could be improvements made)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My inlaws bought this for Christmas for our kids and we put it together over break. We had 14 kids at our house just yesterday enjoying this amazing swing set. We had a Gorilla at our first home and knew the product would hold up and it was easy to throw together. We love Gorilla products and would continue to recommend them to everyone.

Wood was warped for the roof which made the installation process awful. Extra screws would be nice for install too. We had 2 damaged screws that we couldn't use.

The playset is great. The kids love it. The tough part was putting the tornado slide together. Hard to line up the holes for the bolts.

Suggestion would be to seal right away as it’s already peeling. Don’t bother with using installers. They are unreliable for the expense.

Very happy. Wish there would have been some more of the specific 2” wood screws and t- nuts but the assembly and quality is great.

Instructions combined with wood identification made it easy to assemble. Key is getting organized first and following the instructions step by step.
