We bought a Square Trade protection plan for a weather station and were very impressed about how easy it was to file a claim and get reimbursed when the unit broke. So worth it!

The start date of the plan is the date if the order, but the shipment is delayed, so I will have two or more weeks of coverage without the equipment. Seems to me it should begin on the delivery date.

Don't buy this plan, it doesn't cover anything. I sent my iPad in, they broke it, and then said they wouldn't cover it because it was broken, even though they broke it.

This plan doesn't cover anything!! They make you jump through hoops by contacting the manufacture, give you the run around just to find out they dont cover it.
