Perfect boat for a big guy

I bought this 10 months ago. I am very happy with the performance. I am tall and weigh 240. It gets me around very wellThe Yak gear rails are great. I put an anchor wizard on it and have more room. Plenty of room for gear. It looks sleek on the water. Only complaint is it did have a small cut on the bow but other than that it is a great buy. I recommend it.

I love this Kayak

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's bigger than your standard Tamarak but, as a larger individual, I needed a fishing kayak with a bigger weight capacity. This one handles my size just fine, plus offers a lot of the features of higher end fishing kayaks, at a lower cost.

Stealth Pro Angler 118 Fishing Kayak

A few years ago when Emotion made this Kayak we bought 3 of them. It is a really good kayak for the money but there are some down falls with it. As others have mentioned the seat pipes are cut too short and fall thru the brackets. I plan on adding a motor to my yak, but the one that lifetime sells is made for a different kayak and will not work on this one. I had one custom made for my kayak so I could mount a transom trolling motor. Kayak pushes thru the water very well, it is a very stable yak and very easy to stand up in. The only thing I wish that was built better was the seat, although very comfortable, the pipes are just cut a little short.

My first kayak is a winner

I just got this kayak this month and have been out on it 3 times already. I was able to stand up in it easily on my first outing. I am 6'2" and 225 lbs. I researched for a long time and this one had the best bang for the buck. It tracks well and is very stable. I especially like how comfortable and adjustable the seat is. Also, customer service (Darwin) was excellent.

Once the seat was corrected by Lifetime customer support, there are zero compalints!

I bought this Kayak a few years ago and loved everything about it minus the seat. The seat bars were barely too short for proper lock in. Ever since purchase, I just dealt with the occasional drop that happened and would just re-lock the bar in that slipped. Last week I was recommending this kayak to a friend and expressed my only concern. Upon looking on the reviews, it was indeed an issue. One reviewer left a note regarding it and lifetime told them to contact them. Long story short, I did the same and Brenna in customer service made my day. She had a new seat shipped and it fits exactly as it should! The seat was even updated from the previous one I had that came with it. This kayak will definitely be getting recommended by me as a perfect affordable fishing kayak with no flaws to any who ask about it. Great job Lifetime! I will be back when it's time to get another one.

I love it, I hate it!

I bought this kayak almost 2 months ago. I have been out on it pretty much every weekend since i purchased it. I am torn on how to rate this kayak, i love it, I hate it! On the water it performs awesome! I float rivers bow fishing for 6 to 8 hours and i don't get uncomfortable at all. I've been on big open water with big boats and it never gives you the sense of flipping. In short it is solid and comfortable on the water, and for a bigger guy of 250 lbs and over 6 foot, that was what I was looking for. I love the versatility that the rail system gives me. I can be set up with multiple fishing poles, or bow fishing mounts, or both. It moves with ease on the water and with openness of the cockpit area you can set in multiple positions. It is also really easy to get in and out of. It really is a great boat, that you are not in a hurry to get out of. Unless of course something breaks.... Now for the not so good. The seat, although very comfortable, is very cheaply made. I have not been able to set up at the higher position as the ends of the metal poles are cut too short and they just slip out of the locks. Last night the dang thing just broke, and now i am with out a seat! They use very, very cheap plastic at crucial points in this chair. Every place there is plastic on this chair I have experience failures, i.e. end caps and t-couplers. If this kayak didn't perform so well on the water i would of rated this thing with zero stars, for quality defects. The Dry storage area is useless. Mine leaks and having read other reviews this seems to be a common thing. I knew that this was a possibility so i just use a dry bag. HOWEVER; Unless you are out on the lake with other kayakers there is no way you are getting inside that thing while on the water without flipping. And on a side note, if you flip this kayak everything you have with you will end up at the bottom of the lake. I had to go diving for my bow and fishing poles, fun times! So even though it is stable you can flip this kayak, in my case the flipping was my own stupid fault and not something to ding in a review for. So if you like to take things on the water, like snacks, phones, fishing tackle boxes. Be aware if you flip its either safely in the useless dry box or in the lake. For the price you pay for this kayak over the others, you would think you were buying quality. ESPECIALLY the seat, as it is kind of the focal point on this boat. Come on Lifetime!

Well rounded boat

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my dad (B-stock) and it was just in great shape and had wonderful accessories. The seat was super comfortable and just by sitting in it I could tell the stability of the boat!

Best all around

I bought this at the lifetime outlet in Ogden and hauled it home to Colorado. This kayak is to me the best built and structurally sound of any for the money. The employees at the lifetime store are awesome and the customer service is excellent.

Good but a little heavy, could be a little wider

I like this kayak for a first time buyer but I can see that it could be a bit wider and sit out of the kayak a bit higher even at it's highest seat height. It is a bit heavy as well.
