My family and friends absolutely love the onion dip I make with lipton soup! So easy but so loved. These are the best chips I have ever found for the onion dip, which is a bit thick. I never knew the difference between Wavy and Ruffles. I looked it up and the distance between the ridges is larger with the Wavy so you can hold more dip on your chip! :)

Catch the wave, the best ridged chip in the universe! They are so good you could make them into a impractical pair of corduroy pants and it just wouldn't matter. Just eat the crumbs when they fall apart and you won't even notice your undies are showing....until your are done eating that is. Then, the magic is gone. But, you can just buy more!

We buy the bigger bag because it has bigger chips than the 7.5 oz bags, even though we don't eat a full bag in a single setting. However both offer that same great taste and possess that same great Wavy strength to dig out enormous loads of our favorite artery clogging dips.

Like all Lay's potato chips these taste phenomenal. They come very fresh and well packaged. If you're thinking about buying these chips I believe you'll be delighted with your purchase.

I don’t often spring for the namebrand chips, but wavy lays are top-tier. I know the other brand has ridges and store brands are cheaper and everybody says they’re the same but the lays have always been my favorite for a dipping chip.

The wavy chips are the only chips for dip. Any other break before you get it to your mouth. Great with chilli, soups, or just snacks. Lay's is the only brand in my house. Never stale.

I'm sorry but Lays Wavy lacks the saltiness and has a different crunch than Ruffles. They can't be eaten alone …you have to have the dip which is sad! Ruffles is way better!

If you're lucky enough to get these before the expiration date, they are amazing! Fresh taste, crispy and smell great. Most chips if they sit in a back even unopened after a time, they lose their freshness and become stale.

It’s a great regular potato chip made even better with its low price. It’s a great value for your money. I just have a tiny quibble. I only buy chips to eat with a homemade dip. That dip is made with cream cheese and served cold, so it’s not as easy to scoop as most dips. Ruffles chips handle this dip just fine, but Lay’s Wavy sadly breaks more often than not :-( But for creamier dips or just to eat on its own, get this chip! It tastes just as good and the price can’t be beat.

I am love with the wavy ruffles on these chips because they are perfect for dipping. The deep grooves make them perfect for scooping a nice dollop of French onion dip. I'm not saying these are not perfect on their own without dip because they are pretty delicious naked as well. they have just the right amount of salt and the ultimate crispy crunch you'd expect from a Lay 's potato chip.
