You get what you pay for.. cheaply built got damaged in shipping

This safe/cabinet is exactly what I was looking for. It fits in a small space and holds everything I need it to hold.

This safe (more of a cabinet) is just right for a person with limited space who wants security at the right price. This safe will give you the security needed to keep out all but the determined thief with tools and time. The size allows for discrete addition to the common closet and has predrilled holes for securing to a wall or floor. The small shelf holds smaller items. The recessed lock makes unauthorized entry difficult and the two keys provided are double sided to make lock picking difficult. Just the right size for several long guns or hiding your Mother-in-laws broom when she comes to terrorize you and your little dog! Get two and ground both your broom pilots when needed!

Excellent value for the price. More substantial than a basic gun cabinet with a more secure door; but not as solid as a full on safe. I recommend using upgraded concrete anchors for added mounting strength. I would also recommend to anchor at 4 corners as well as the two middle mounting holes it comes with from the factory.

Bought this safe on line for $100, it came in about a week; safe did have a paint chip and scratch in front but overall in good condition. Safe looks attractive and is built pretty sturdy. I think its built with 16gage steal (not thin but not super thick). Lock action with skeleton key in smooth. I will need to bolt it into the floor once a get a chance because it's light enough to pick up and it's too skinny to stand safely on its own. If you need an inexpensive good quality small rifle safe and don't mind carrying around a huge key this is the safe for you. Just perfectly fits a standard Remington 870 shot gun without needing to remove the shelf

Not bad for under $200 shipped to my door.. I had to use 3 self adhesive metal shims on the inside and or backside of the safe door frame to pull the door pins in tighter against the recessed door frame.. If your not mechanical.. what I said makes little sense.. It was a simple fix that a handy person can do.. so I'm still recommending this safe.. The lock pins are huge.. and the door is now properly recessed when locked.. there are no visible hinges.. This little bugger would need torched to open.. or quite a few jab saw blades.. it must be secured to the wall in my opinion.. with only the floor anchored.. there's a lot of stress on the bottom steel plate.. but still no big deal.. good bang for the buck!

I purchased this safe for my husband as a Christmas gift. It arrived at my home quickly. To my dismay, the key doesn't glide into the lock smoothly. We had to giggle the safe around to get the door to lock and unlock. As a place to store our home defense items, this would surely not be great in the case of an emergency.

This is more of a gun storage with a safe door, i can put 4 long guns and 2 full size hand guns maybe even 3 on the top shelf, The door is made of some good stuff the sides arent the best on a "safe" but the size of it you can put it in a closet bolt it to a stud in the wall and bolt it into the floor and make it ten times harder for anyone to try to get into it. I've read other reviews on other sites about the safe being scratched and beat up on arrival this one wasnt at all. To top it off you will not find a cheaper price safe and will not find a cheaper price on this safe from any other website. Over all this is a great safe for the money! Only problem i have is the locking "bolts" get a little sticky so from time to time you have to place your foot at the bottom of the door and retry unlocking it but it still unlocks everytime!

Delivered today, damaged. So the cabinet comes in a box with Styrofoam yet the cabinet still had scrapes and damage. The door will not even open because it is up in the frame and the cabinet is bent. Now I have the hassle of returning this large bulky product. Very disappointed. IDK does anyone care anymore?

This is a very rudimentary option. The safe was dented and damaged upon arrival. The paint is coming off of its finish in large chunks. The metal is thinner and cheaper than expected. The "shelf" is useless. I will build my own because the cardboard supplied as a shelf won't hold up. I would not recommend purchasing this safe.
